Why not try your luck with a visit to Grand Casino de Djerba during your time in Mezraia? While you're in the area, stroll along the beaches.
The beaches were quite nice. Pretty touristy in the "tourist zone" (imagine that!), seems like it has been developed quickly without much regard for preserving a local flavor. Reminds me of Cabo, just speaking a different language.
