"We stayed for one night and it was a good experience. The staff were helpful and friendly, our room was clean. Breakfast was sort of meh, all sugar and carbs, but that's pretty standard for hotels. The kids loved the pool. I would stay again. "

"Terrible management - lacks morals and understanding. I live in Texas and have never been to Michigan nor do I plan to visit - however, when I went to book a hotel for Midland Texas from my phone, Midland Michigan popped up and I accidently clicked on it, as soon as I booked the hotel and went to copy the address to send, I noticed my mistake and IMMEDIATLY contacted hotels.com to cancel (we're talking not even 1 min after), which they then contacted this hotel and were told to call back in morning to speak with manager. The manager only refunded one of the two nights that I accidently booked - sure it started as my error, which I admit, but to decide to keep my money just because you can and choose to do so, is absolutely wrong. Unfortunately, the fate of my refund was at the hands of the hotel manager, which clearly has no morals, ethics or problem keeping peoples hard earned money when the opportunity arises. Wonder how much money he's gotten out of actual guests that stay there for ridiculous things..."

"The parking lot flooded during our stay and we had to move our vehicle in ankle-deep water at 9:30 pm—only because we happened to look out the window. There was no warning from management that that side of the lot floods, even though it’s apparently a known issue and it had been raining all day. The room also had several problems: an unpleasant smell, very poor lighting, and no full-length mirror. We were in town for a dance competition, so it made getting our dancer ready much harder. To make matters worse, we were woken up both nights in the middle of the night by people fighting near our room. We notified staff, but nothing changed. Overall, management needs to communicate known issues like flooding and do a better job addressing disturbances and maintaining the rooms."

"GREAT location, everything is near by - restaurants, groceries, department stores, craft and hobby stores, and more! Wonderful pool and hot tub - liked a warm shower at the pool before heading back to our room. We will stay there again!"
