The people working there are amazing. The rooms small but have everything you need. However there is no art gallery. Amazing pictures and sculptures on the walls yes but no gallery.

The staff was nice and friendly! The room was filthy, the bedding was dirty, nails in the door holding it together. We slept on top of the blankets with our clothes on and the shower curtain was moldy and dirty. I didn't shower before going on my cruise in Maima. It doesn't even deserver 1 star.

We arrived early and they kept our luggage while we explored the area. The bathroom water temperature was an issue, though. It won't stay constant so as you are taking a bath, you would have to adjust it all the time. Breakfast was very simple but I wish there was water, at least. The only saving grace is the staff was courteous and helpful.

Is this a 4 star hotel? No but nicely remodeled clean rooms. No issues with the room or service. Everyone was friendly and offered great advice. Location feels a step below but very close to downtown Miami. Some homeless but so does every big city. Plenty of police presence. There were people jogging and walking dogs alone. As a woman I wouldn't walk alone at night but felt just fine with my husband. During the day it was fine felt safe. 20-30 minute walk to water. 15 minutes to food and the metro station. Good place for a decent price. If you have issues with stairs this is an old building no elevator ask for a main floor room

We stayed here for one night while on a long transit between NYC and the Caribbean. The stay was comfortable, the check in was smooth and the staff were nice. Comfortable bed. Decor and furniture are dated, but I think that's part of the point given the historical nature of the hotel. Bathroom didn't have any soap and bottles of water were not complimentary. Would stay here again for a night or two, but far from luxury.

The staff was great both times we stayed. I also received treats being that was on Halloween, The rooms we spotless. It actually felt like staying in my own room at home. I asked for things to do around the area and the staff didn't disappoint. My son, nephew, and I went to visit the art wall. We enjoyed ourselves. This will be our home away from home.

The staff was SO nice. Zoe especially with telling me about what's to do in the area. Hotel has a rich history, definitely ask the staff about it! Rooms were clean and very nice looking. Water was hot, pressure could be better though. Beds were comfortable but slightly too firm..AC was really cold but easily adjustable. Overall very nice hotel and definitely recommend. A+

Okay, here isy honest feedback for this hotel. It's a basic hotel to sleep and take a shower. That's it. It's an old building that has had some remodeling like fresh paint but it still smells musty or smoky. The staff are super friendly! My room was decent but I didn't have any shampoos or soap.
