We loved our stay at Utopic! The building, rooms, staff, and neighborhood were exceptional. The only thing we had trouble with was a plumbing issue, but that is to be expected in an old beautiful building. I think that they could also improve their breakfast as well, but, again, not a big issue for me. I really, genuinely enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back the next time that I am in Mexico City.

me encantó la propiedad, es una casona remodelada y adecuada para brindar lujo e historia. El personal es super atento, desde el guardia en caseta hasta las personas enrecepción, todos están para que tu estancia sea lo más cómoda posible. Me quedé en la habitación Maria Antonieta y la verdad espectacular, la terraza que incluye hace que el espacio sea mas amplio, el cuarto cuenta con todas las amenidades, tiene refrigerador, cafetera y espacio de almacenamiento para equipaje. Los Baños son amplios, estan muy limpios y cómodos. Me encantó la ubicación porque tiene todo cercano, como cafés gimnasios, restaurantes y en lo personal fué muy ameno poder ir a pasear al parque Lincoln.

Perfectly amazing, and the staff are overly friendly and attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and clean, and the location can't be beat. We didn't realize there would also be an "Honor Bar" in the basement complete with a pool table for winding down the nights. Plus, the complimentary breakfast (with great green juice) was the perfect way to start our day. Definitely would stay again!

PROS: Excelente location. Cute quirky hotel that until a few years ago was a family house with a lot of personality. Beautifully decorated, ideal for Instagram or Tik Tok. CONS: THE NOISE. You can hear everything through the paper-thin walls: the music from the open-air lobby, voices from the lobby, people in hallways, next door neighbors’ flushing… The hotel is located in an intersection of a busy street so you hear the continuous and prolonged HONKING as drivers get frustrated with traffic until 3am, when the nightclubs close. THE STAFF was entitled, condescending and rude. There’s nobody working in the lobby until 8 in the morning, we were leaving for a whole day tour in Xochimilco at 7am so I wrote to the hotel via WhatsApp explained the situation and asked to be changed to any other room further from the Main Street. The answer back around 10:00am was that the switch would cost $200 more per night (???) we agree to pay the extra fee, but then the hotel texted again saying we needed to be out of our current room by 11:00am for them to be able to do the “upgrade”. At no point the hotel try to accommodate us and they just said “we can’t control the city noise” as if we’re being too picky. Needless to say we couldn’t make it before 11am, since we were in Xochimilco. When we got back from the trip we just grabbed our bags and relocated to another hotel. Just for reference, our room was the “Queen Elizabeth”.

Wendy and the entire team, from the entrance staff to reception and housekeeping were incredibly friendly and welcoming! The room was spotless, and the balcony added a lovely touch. The decor throughout the hotel was beautifully done and created a pleasant atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is lovely and rooms are comfortable. Morad was a great host and the entire staff were friendly and did a wonderful job cleaning our room and taking care of us. We liked that there was a gate and everyone got to know you. Would definitely stay again.
