Beautiful hotel. Nestled in a nice corner in Polanco with quick access to shopping, dining and relaxing. The ambiance and scent throughout the hotel is phenomenal! You also get a nice tote bag to keep!
Nice clean new hotel in a really great location. The neighborhood is very nice and safe with lots of shops and restaurants. The room is very nice and the bathroom is well designed. The room is kinda tight with luggage but the bed is huge and very comfortable.
Wonderful stay. Friendly, warm and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms in a great location.

The hotel is in a privileged area, adjacent to masaryk and with restaurants and shops all around. The staff was very friendly and amicable. However, our shower did not work and we found men’s underwear in the room 😭it wasn't ours because it was literally as we were first entering the room and looking around 🙈
Amazing hotel and staff. Small, boutique, feels new. Great location in the heart of Polanco. It has a Gym, small but functional. I will comeback for sure.
The room was clean, amenities were great, and most importantly the staff was extremely friendly and responsive to all of our requests. Great location and would definitely stay with them again.
This was a unique small boutique hotel that had everything I needed... clean, comfortable, coffee and water in room, grab and go breakfast items with choices, a coffee bar, and located in a walkable safe area. Highly recommend!
Nice small property that is located in the heart of Polanco.
Very small rooms with tiny storage space. Same, very very limited breakfast. Not a 5 star hotel

Nice new building with modern touches. The staff is EXCELLENT. The cute complimentary breakfast is a nice touch. The main complaint is that you hear a lot of noise from the hallways/other rooms.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Amenities, particularly the Self Drip Coffee flask. The bed and pillows were firm, just right. The HVAC and internet were great.
Our first visit to this boutique hotel, was pretty new and therefore clean and fresh. The staff was very accommodating and responsive. The rooms are good size, beds comfortable with all necessities. The location is great, lots of restaurants and 3 blocks to Parque Chapultepec, safe area and we will definitely return here on our next trip to CdMx.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lamartine and would definitely consider staying here again. The location in Polanco is fantastic—walkable to so many great restaurants, cafés, and shops. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a charming boutique aesthetic that made it feel cozy and welcoming. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. It was simple but thoughtfully prepared and a nice way to start the day.
The staff was one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating whenever we needed assistance.
There were a few maintenance and housekeeping issues that kept the stay from being perfect. The shower was difficult to use because the water was either very hot or very cold, with no comfortable middle temperature. Although housekeeping checked to make sure we had everything we needed, we didn't receive washcloths until our last evening. The room safe also hadn't been reset, so we were unable to program it for our use. Finally, the suitcase storage compartment had a strong musty/humid smell, so we chose to keep our luggage outside of it.
Overall, these were relatively minor issues compared to everything the hotel did well. With a little more attention to those details, this would easily be a perfect boutique hotel. We loved the atmosphere, the staff, and the location, and we'd happily stay here again.

Nice hotel and good location, but the noise is a serious problem. You can hear everything from everywhere. I stayed on the first floor and would never recommend it. The restaurant is right there, and after 7 am it’s impossible to sleep. During the day it’s just as bad, you can hear lobby conversations word for word.
I initially thought this was only a first floor issue, but noise carries throughout the hotel. The walls and doors feel paper thin. If they fixed the soundproofing, this place would be great. As it is, it’s a hard pass. I barely slept.
The staff was good and tried to help, but this isn’t something that can be fixed on the spot.

The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating, however, they were fixing plumbing issues while we were there, which created a huge inconvenience to our first day. We didn’t have running water for several hours. Another complaint is the toilet seat was a little broken and wouldn’t stay up. I also don’t know where the spa was located. We never saw one.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights on November 6-10th, 2025. The hotel is small, but intimate. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The location is excellent in the Polanco area. You can walk or Uber to many of the points of interests or excellent restaurants in the area. The staff is very excellent and attentive. There was street noise from our room, but the staff provided me some ear plugs to help with my light sleeping. They provide a light breakfast every morning. The room we stayed in had a King size bed that was very comfortable. The room was modern contemporary with a minimalist design. It was very well thought out design! The air conditioning worked really well. If you need any supplies, just ask the staff and they will respond to your request immediately. They provide a safe for your personal belongings. There was a small fridge to keep your water or food cool. We asked the staff for restaurant recommendations in the area and they gave us some good restaurants (La Casa del Pastor) for tacos. Porfirio’s is across the street, on the corner. All and all it was a great stay. If you’re looking for a small, modern boutique hotel in the heart of Polanco at an affordable price (compared to the other Polanco hotels in the area) you won’t be disappointed. It was a pleasant surprise for us. 😎

First, my mistake. I did not realize this is really a kind of Airbnb hybrid. It’s not a full service hotel. Expedia should include this in apartment style options not hotel options.
Second, this is definitely NOT 5 star. Or even 4 star. It’s comfortable and clean BUT at most 3 star by international standards.
Third, the staff try their best which is a good thing.
Fourth, you can’t drink tap water in Mexico City so it’s important to have bottled water. They had bottled water in the room, but not the screw type top. You needed a bottle opener. The « hotel » did not have one so one had to go to the front door person to open - even apartment type accommodations have bottle openers.
There was a huge expectation gap. The only thing I can say is the staff tried. But this is not as advertised. I have paid half the amount charged most recently in the Baltics for a 5 star hotel in a capital city.
Anyway, the rooms need some refreshing as well.
The location was great, perfect for walking distance to restaurant and shops. The hot tub is not a hot tub it’s just a tub, no jets, disappointing considering that’s why I stayed there. The room was not clean, the sheets had stains on them and I had to have the front desk clean out to tub before I could use it. Minor issues but attention to detail goes a long way. I would stay here again but next time I’m bringing a blue light lol
