The hotel was furnished beautifully and the staff was very warm. My room was a larger suit on the ground floor. It had almost zero natural light and was very cold, the heating was insufficient so they gave me a space heater which worked. The location and the breakfast were excellent. I wish the room had a deadbolt
The hotel is clean and beautiful, the location is awesome. The only thing was the anoying sounds in the morning from the water pipes and the neighbors.
The hotel was in a great location, we walked to two beautiful parks and many restaurants while we were there on a short visit. We found the room quite dark, although well appointed with a nice terrace. The staff was wonderful, extremely helpful and very friendly.
This is a 5++ hotel. The service is great, the restaurant serves excellent food, and the architecture is impressive. On top of that, it is very well situated. Definitely a gem!

Casa Cuenca exceeded our expectations! It was beautiful and in a great location—the neighborhood was pretty and extremely walkable to shops, food, and more. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the restaurant attached served delicious and fresh food. We ate complimentary breakfast there almost every morning of our trip. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if i return to Mexico City.
Hotel Casa Cuenca helped make our first trip to Mexico City even more special. The location is perfect within the Condesa area. The staff was not only helpful but caring; making sure that our needs were met. The hotel is very clean! Thank you to all for a wonderful time in CDMX!
I loved everything about this hotel. The design was minimalist with warmth from organic materials. Bathrooms are beautiful and colorful—wonderful shower, really nice high-quality products that smell so good. Rooms very thoughtfully designed for comfort. Location great— quiet but close to shops and food. The restaurant matched the quality of the hotel. Inspired, refined food in a relaxed atmosphere. Lots of choices for seating. Delightful stay.
We had a great 5 nights stay at Casa Cuenca. The staff was friendly and attentive, the bartender was very welcoming and spoke English very well so was great to talk to. Receptionist however didn’t speak English well. The hotel interior design was amazing, very stylish with quirky details like cool bathrobes, lights and other accessories. It was a pleasure to stay in this kind of atmosphere, and would definitely recommend to stay there.
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Casa Cuenca. The space is stunning -- so unique and thoughtfully designed. Perfectly located in the vibrant Condesa neighborhood, very close to Roma too. Our room did not have a lot of extra space for suitcases or moving around, but we did not mind. An easy concession, given the private outdoor space we got to enjoy. The breakfast at Maleza Restaurant on site was so good that we went back for dinner, which was also excellent. Service outstanding at reception too. We would certainly stay here again!
Stay here if you want to have an authentic Mexico City experience. The rooms are beautiful and designed by local designers and feature a lot of designs that are all local. It's very stylish and romantic.
The showers have the best water pressure I've ever had and often in Mexico this is a challenge.
The best part is that everyone who works here is really passionate about Mexico City in about the hotel and they will take amazing care of you when you stay here.
A hidden gem in the center of Condesa! We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Cuenca and I'm recommending it to everyone i know visiting CDMX! As an interior designer - i really appreciated the comfortable & well-apointed rooms, the cleanliness and the gorgeous courtyard. The hotel is situated on a quiet, tree-lined block in Condesa, walking distance to all the sights but away from the hustle & bustle of the city. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the onsite restaurant specializing in local and organic ingredients was a huge plus! We had a lovely dinner there upon our late arrival and the best poached eggs for breakfast. Highly recommend this boutique hotel with all the comforts without the fuss.
We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, secure and in a great location for walking around to bars, shop, restaurants and parks. On site restaurants and bar were great as was the service. Morning breakfast was delicious.
As others noted with the presidential suite, it does sit above the restaurant which made it a bit noisy but the entire area is pretty lively so it was not that disruptive but something to keep in mind when booking that room specifically. Besides that, the room and bathroom were spacious - clean and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Shout out to Emilio at the bar.
Only criticism was the room service, specifically the wash cloth refresh - we didn’t receive any wash clothes 2 days in a row and upon asking the staff for clean ones we were told “they were out”. How do you run out of wash clothes….
Certainly would stay here again and highly recommend.
Casa Cuenca is a super nice boutique hotel in the heart of Condesa, Mexico City.
The staff is wonderful, welcoming, attentive, and speaks good English.
The room is clean, nice, comfortable, and more.
Security is also excellent, and it’s a lovely little oasis in the middle of the city, set in a beautiful old building.
Breakfast from the on-site restaurant Maleza is excellent.
The only downside is: you should be aware that they have different types of rooms with the same names, but they are not all the same size. For example, there are many different types of "Terraza" rooms, which vary greatly in size. The hotel’s website states that the room is 48 sqm, but the room we stayed in was closer to 25 sqm, including the terrace. This information is not specified anywhere.
Beautiful boutique hotel with attentive staff. Highly recommend!

Lovely rooms but loud construction noise every day of my stay and staff who were defensive about it and offered nothing by way of compensation — not even a free coffee or offer of tea when I told them I was feeling ill. Some of the staff were very sweet but overall they came across as inexperienced.
