The room was nice and clean. Management was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the beds were uncomfortable. Update your mattress and it would be 5 star!

Super clean.

The room was a little dated, but super clean. We needed an extra towel and the lady got one to us super quick. She was super friendly and made checking in a breeze.

Great Value

Overall Unity Lodge was a good value, it is an older small motel that all the rooms are being fixed up. Room had recently been painted, had a new floor installed, small kitchenette added (2 burner stove, small red and sink). Everything was clean and fresh. I didn't have any issues and sleep great. I found it a great value.

Very decent for the price and private.

Stayed here while attending a bike rally nearby. It's a nice private place to stay and they do keep it decently clean. The place itself is in need of upgrades and the finishes are cheap and have wear and tear. Overall it was a good place to stay and we were comfortable and enjoyed the privacy. Has a functioning kitchenette but no pots, pans, ect. There was coffee but only a water boiler the make it with so we had to basically throw the filter into the boiler. For the price I would stay there again.

There was no key in the lock box and once contact was made with a rep, he was told to go to the hardware store to have one made. Reservation was cancelled at that moment. Lights were missing bulbs, bed covers were inadequate for the cold weather and room temp, carpet needed replacing years ago. Our group will NEVER come back and make certain everyone knows this place is a “DUMP”.

Rode trip with a group

We had a group trip for a long weekend. We were told via text/email a code to enter to the locked box with our key. No key but the door was unlocked with the key inside-okay. The room appeared to be updated. All rooms smelled of smoke. The kitchenette sink leaked. The comforter was just thrown on the beds, unlike other's rooms where the bedding was nicely tucked. The bathroom had a partial roll of toilet paper. It was hard to get in touch with the lodge as not on site. The bed was a full size but it was comfortable.

We’ll kept sleeping spot

A nice well kept establishment that satisfies the need for a clean sleeping spot. The town is a beautiful, historic river town with some low cost, good food options. I highly recommend the Tammy’s Grill and Chill Saturday breakfast buffet for $9.99.

Not as nice as the pictures...

There were multiple issues with our stay. Had to call twice in order to receive the keypad code to even get into the room. There was dirt in one of the beds, the towel bar in the bathroom was not secured to the wall, and the shower head and handles were not flush with the wall. All in all, I would not stay here again.

Decent place to stay

Decent, quiet place to stay while exploring Shawnee National Forest. Older place with outdated bed and bedding, but small oven and stovetop to cook. Wifi available, but not as strong near the back of the property where we were located.

This is the third time I've stayed here. I was amazed at how clean and welcoming it was. After a couple not so great experiences I believe they have hired a great manager to run the motel this time. I will definitely be back!

The only complaint would be that some of our neighbors were a little loud early in the morning. Check in and out were through a key lockbox--no contact with property manager.

A sweet lodge

We where the only guests there. The room was very clean. Bathroom is pretty small and has a bath. Overall a very nice place to stay. I would stay again. Also reasonably priced.

It was pretty much a motel, but perfect. We found it last minute and thought it was cheap and thought why not? Since it was Thanksgiving i called ahead to give them a 2 hour heads up so they didnt feel so rushed with my last min booking. The lady was so nice and told me due to covid everything was set up by text. She texted me the room number qnd a code for a black.box where our key would be stored. There was no contact other than when we got there they checked on us. The place was cute, clean. The beds arent the best but for the place and price I cant complain. I highly recommend this place. Freindly, clean and not far from Shawnee.

Room we were given upon arrival still had dirty towels and beds. Given another room and were told 10 minute wait...we checked in an hour later..The room was ok...glad we brought our own space heater..the heater unit sounded like a jet..we were told we were the only guests..hoped for quiet...room right next to us was occupied by loud guests..manager suggested I go knock on their door to ask them to be quiet! The room itself was not bad...was clean..

Old motel not worth the money or stay

The room wasn't ready when I arrived at 3:30 pm. After the funeral, the next day, about 3 pm, came back to the room and the linen was stripped off the bed and the bed not made. I wanted to rest a bit but decided to head back to Oklahoma.
