Κτίριο χωρίς στοιχειώδη συντήρηση σε καλή θέση

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι παλαιό και χωρίς ουσιαστική συντήρηση. Οι τοίχοι απλώς βαμμένοι σε άγριο επίχρισμα, η μπαλκονόπορτα άνοιγε με πολύ κόπο για να βγείς σε ένα βρώμικο μπαλκόνι χωρίς έπιπλα, το λουτρό παλαιομοδίτικο με λίγο ή καθόλου ζεστό νερό και χωρίς στοιχειώδη amenities , οι αποχετεύσεις ηχούσαν όταν τις χρησιμοποιούσε το δίπλα ή απάνω δωμάτιο, η ντουλάπα στοιχειώδης και μύριζε. Σημάδι εγκατάλειψης η ντουλάπα είχε διαφορετικά πόμολα στα δύο φύλλα!! Η επίπλωση στοιχειώδης παλαιά και ετερόκλιτη. Η καθαριότητα του δωματίου σχετικά ανεκτή. Το προσωπικό τυπικά ευγενικό. Δεν πήραμε πρωϊνό, άρα δεν εκφράζω γνώμη. Η θέση πολύ καλή. Εαν έχετε δωμάτιο στην πρόσοψη βλέπετε στο πάρκο εμπρός από τον κήπο των Ηρώων. Εαν το δωμάτιο είναι στο πλάι...... Η πρόσβαση με ΙΧ καλή. Υπάρχει ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ αν και δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα στον δρόμο. Σε ότι αφορά την κτιριακή υποδομή χρειάζονται πολλά χρήματα για να γίνει το ξενοδοχείο ανεκτό.

Good hotel in nice city

Messalongi is not very well known but is nice with wonderful street restaurants and fine bird watching (April). The hotel is functional but not extremely pretty.

Excellent value in good location

I stayed at the Liberty as the final stopover in a 'Grand Tour' of Ancient Greek sites. Mesolongi is a convenient base for several sites and is close to the motorway between Petra and Ioannina. First impression of the hotel from the outside is that it is run down but everything else was positive - friendly staff, comfortable room, w-fi and a great location. The hotel is close to the Garden of Heroes and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. I left early before seeing what breakfast was like. This was a bargain.
