It was an unloved location and I was really disappointed because I thought I had book a nice hotel room in the midst of a long trip I treated myself. Very strange place.

La ubicación del hotel frente al mar es excelente, la habitación era grande y cómoda, solamente le falta más iluminación al estacionamiento porque se encuentra fuera de la propiedad

El lugar es perfecto! la atención es muy buena, los cuartos son amplios y tienen un ambiente muy bueno. Las camas son una locura de comodidad, están fabulosas! El desayuno incluido es bueno. Lo único que pondría como "pero" sería que no tiene mucha playa. Pero en general para descansar está fabuloso!

Flamingos inn is located in the chuburna pueblo, the entrances to the residential area is not iluminated front m the man road, you better arrive before sunset to avoid missing. The beach on the area is very small and block by each residence. Overall place is 3

This is my 3rd stay at this property in 3 years, mostly because it has become my absolute favorite place to relax & get away. They have made some upgrades with their internet since my prior stays. I was able to work remotely & stream tv services without any problems at all. The view of the beach is breathtaking, & the rooms all have a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. The bed is extremely comfortable, & you have basic essentials supplied in the kitchen, including water, coffee, cookware, a small gas stove, & toaster oven. The family that owns the place is so very kind. I will continue to visit this place at least once yearly for as long as I can! It’s truly my own private paradise, & I’m glad I happened upon it! ☺️

Me gusto el lugar, tiene una vista hermosa, esta equipado pada que puedas quedarte ahi o en la playa sin salir a algun lado, solo debes llevar cosas, las instalaciones hermosas y la atencion buenisima, personas muy amables. Definitivamente regreso!

We spent 14 glorious days here! If you’re looking for a place off the beaten track you’ll love Flamingos Inn. We felt like the place was our own retreat away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy spots. Victor, Alva and Rebecca catered to our every need. The views of the gulf we had were unparalleled. We hope to return to this oasis in the future!!

La vista que tiene desde la habitación es muy bonita. Los alrededores de la propiedad son de terraceria, no son dificiles de pasar con coche, pero si es necesario considerarlo. La habitación es muy espaciosa, solo quiza me hubiera gustado que el cuarto de regadera fuera un poco mas amplia.

Sehr geräumiges Penthouse mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, die wir nicht nutzten. Einrichtung des PH sehr gut. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Allerdings ist man ohne eigenes Fahrzeug aufgeschmissen.

The downstairs room needs updating. It has rusty faucets and a terrible kitchen area. There is no closet or even a bench to put your suitcase. Management is difficult to get a hold of. Just to let you know, staff does not speak English. The views are beautiful.

This is my second time staying at this property, & I think I love it more this time than I did last. This place is paradise. Everything about it is wonderful, & the family that owns it & lives on property are just great. Ignore any bad reviews you see. I can promise you those are just people with impossible expectations. Only hiccup was the Wi-Fi, but with a view like the one you get, who really needs Wi-Fi? It works, but it’s not incredibly fast, so if you are planning to work remotely, be prepared to use a hotspot. I did work remotely some while staying, & that worked fine for me. Again, I can say as I did in my original review that I slept better there than I have anywhere. They’ll get used to seeing me around. I’ll be back many more times. :)

Oceanfront property. I fell asleep to the sound of waves. Nice rooms and a beautiful courtyard with a pool. The Wifi was very dicey, but that just gave me an excuse not to work!

Es un hotel muy pequeño, muy bien atendido. Todas las solicitudes que hice (clave de wifi, toallas extra) fueron atendidas inmediatamente. El desayuno muy rico, incluye café, fruta abundante, y un plato fuerte con su guarnición (a mi me toco huevo revuelto, panuchos y enchiladas de mole rellenas de hueco cocido). El jugo de naranja es el único punto débil porque es de sobre. Para acceder a la playa solo hay que bajar 3 escalones y listo. Aunque todas las playas son públicas, esta es casi privada. Los dos días que fui a nadar, solo estuvimos mi pareja y yo. Dentro de la habitación hay una pequeña cocina con todo lo necesario, incluso tiene un pequeño horno eléctrico. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, yo regresaré en la primera oportunidad.

Pros: - Habitaciones muy acogedoras y limpias, - la vista y playa hermosa, - la piscina siempre limpia - y el personal muy atento, - buen desayuno, - excelente lugar para relajarse Contras: - No hay medios de trasporte, te tienen que contactar con ubers/taxis específicos para llevarte a dónde quieras, y te cobran lo que ellos quieren.. y de regreso hasta los mismos ubers de progreso no te quieren llevar :( (por lo retirado) 2.- el wifi creo que nunca funcionó. 3.- en dos ocasiones alguna de la fruta del desayuno estaba hechada a perder, :( pero en general estaba todo muy rico Recomendación: - Llevar auto - Si el plan de tus vacaciones implica ir a centros arqueologicos o explorar Mérida en general, mejor buscar una ubicación en la ciudad - Si tú plan es relajación y pasar tiempo en la playa, es un lugar excelente

Hotel right on the beach!
Nice place. A little hard to get to (on a sand road) Comfortable but power went in and out in the nights. Property manager was very nice and helpful. Specific location was right on the beach and beach was clean
