"Lovely, clean, big room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. AC and wifi works well. Beautiful, clean pool. Free coffee, hot water and iced soft drink , all day , in the lobby. Staff helpful. Breakfast buffet not extensive - but more than enough to start the day. Not many restaurants nearby. Hotel offers poolside snacks only after 2 pm. It is an easy walk to the city center where there are lots of places to eat. Felt safe walking back at 10 pm. Civic guards at practically every crossing. Would happily stay again. "

"If downtown is where you want to explore, you cannot beat this location. Just one block from the main cathedral and park where there is always something going on. Restaurants and all kinds of points of interest within walking distance. And buses that go everywhere, within walking distance as well. The staff here is wonderful and can't do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are not modern, white bathrobe type of accommodation, but they are clean, and for somewhere I only went to sleep, perfectly functional. in the morning one can go up to the third level where the pool is and watch the sun rise over the back of the gorgeous cathedral. Wonderful."

"We had an ocean view It was a partial view but very good and morning sun. FYI we stayed 3 weeks but during the days prior to Ash Wed in Feb. they have a huge carnival, and the grandstand is in front of hotel so the noise level is very high and continues late into the night. So be aware it starts the Friday night and the last night is Shrove Tues. Ear plugs do not work and we ended up moving to a friend's place for four nights while carnival was on. "

"Clean room, large bathroom, well situated. I didn’t try the pool as it was very shaded and not the most inviting. Gym was small but served its purpose. Most of the hotel staff were lovely though we did encounter some people who weren’t so helpful. We would return. "
