Beautiful house with historic Menomonie charm. We loved the history lesson about the grounds and area from the Inn Keeper, Stephanie. Breakfast was unique and very good.

We stayed at Oaklawn for 1 night and will definitely be back! The house is clean, quiet and we enjoyed the history. The porch is beautiful! We had a fabulous breakfast with other guests and had great conversations!

The experience was wonderful. The ambiance of the restored house with original hardwood and inlays, the attention to details in even the ceiling fixtures was a delight for the eyes. Likewise, having a hot meal daily between 8:30AM -10:30AM is worth another visit. In addition, learning about the historical facts about the property was insightful. Therefore, the Oaklawn Inn is excellent with a daily hot freshly cooked different meal served, great hospitality, and historical facts that will make anyone appreciate the Victorian Era. Stephanie was a wealth of knowledge a d qoukd gladly answer any questions we had!

The Oaklawn definitely exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed several hours on the screen porch relaxing and watching the sunset. My room was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed talking with the other couples who were staying there. I could not say enough about how pleased I was with the whole experience

Greeted warmly by owner, Stephanie, who made us feel right at home. Happily explained the history of the home and the area around. Beautifully appointed rooms and furnishings. Accommodations for late nighters or early risers are available in the dining room. Bedroom is comfortable and elegant. Overall, quite pleased!

Wonderful weekend getaway

Stephanie has done an amazing job of restoring this Victorian home to it's former glory. It's beautiful and comfortable. Stephanie is an excellent hostess offering hot beverages & snacks anytime and a wonderful gormet breakfast in the morning. She also has a nice collection of stories & pictures of her home, the former owners and history of the area. I can highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Oakland. Stephanie is incredible, she told us so much history and has worked to preserve the past. It is a lovely home, very comfortable warm and inviting. We will return.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property. Stephanie is doing a wonderful job, I loved the design and vision, the history of the house and her passion for preserving and sharing it. The bed was super comfortable, my room was beautiful and clean and water pressure was awesome. It was my first experience staying at a bed and breakfast and honestly it was amazing. The breakfast included is restaurant like, so different from the typical hotel food. I wished I stayed more days and I would definitely stay here again when I’m in town. Thank you, Stephanie!

Oaklawn Inn was a delight to stay at. Stephanie, the owner, is wonderful at sharing the history of the house. The beds are very comfortable, shower pressure is great and breakfast is delicious. Don't hesitate to book a room at the Oaklawn Inn if it is available- you won't be disappointed.

This is a beautiful, historic B&B. Stephanie was very welcoming and gave me a wonderful history of both the inn and the city. The inn is wonderfully restored and beautiful. My room is luxurious and comfortable. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Oaklawn Inn is a hidden jewel. An elegant and historic home, ideal for a special getaway. Stephanie was a wonderful host. The food was excellent and accommodations were very comfortable. Regrettably, we only had the one night. I highly recommend a longer stay.
