This is a good hotel, in a good location with kind, professional staff. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and it represents good value for the price they are charging. The local area had plenty of shops and it was within easy walking distance of the city's attractions.

We were only there for one night while waiting to take a flight out of Mendoza, but it was perfect for us. It’s an apartment, not a vacation resort, and it’s very unassuming, but it’s perfect for business travelers or anyone needing a clean, safe, secure place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette well-equipped. Extremely clean and comfortable. It’s just two blocks from great restaurants and shops. We’ll stay there on our next visit to Mendoza.

The front desk reception was excellent. He was similar to a concierge at a 5 star hotel. Researched transportation options for us and mapped out a walking tour of the highlight of Mendoza. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and most importantly welcoming and friendly. We definitely recommend Umbral Aconcagua.

The apartment was idesl as a stop over for us between cities, its close to the airport too. It is also very secure. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well as communicative. They answered my queries quickly. Would recommend staying here.

I stayed at Umbral del Aconcagua for 5 nights. The apartments are very new, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The property is set up like a motel, so is very suitable if you are traveling in a private vehicle. The Apartments are arranged around a very secure parking space. The only down side to this set up is that there can be some noise outside of the rooms if vehicles return late at night.The staff are very helpful and English is spoken. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the main street of Mendoza and about 10 minutes walk to the main plaza and pedestrian shopping and restaurant areas. I liked the Apartments central position to the airport, the bus station and the city.

Central location

The hotel is really apartments. The property location is excellent walking distance to the center of Mendoza City. Looks like a newer property. However, heavily fortified. There is no street parking so when you check in you kind of have to park in the driveway sideways before they can let you through double gates. Staff is super nice and friendly. Parking inside is tight but ok. The room I had was a double (king) bed with a second singe in the living room. So that bed doubled as the couch. The room furnishings are "functional" is the best description. Kitchen, yes, dining table yes but the TV did not work and in the early morning when I was leaving I did not have hot water. At 5:45 I was not going to call down and left with a super quick cold shower. Not what i hoped for. I would probably come back here for the same reason I picked the hotel. Parking is available and it is walking distance to the downtown. Easy to get to the airport from there and if all you need to do is sleep then it certainly works.
