Overall my experience was a good one. There was some noise, but it was a friday night in downtown Memphis. That's expected. But, the room decor is outdated and needs a new color scheme along with updated furniture.

I've stayed at this property a fews years back for work and decided to stay for personal stay. It was just ok. The bed was very very hard and was not comfortableat all. The AC woke me up all night as it sounded like it was about to fall out of the ceiling every time it shut off. The room was just ok but you could tell it had not been updated. The staff was nice and friendly as well as the valet service.

I thought location was going to be good given it is next to the ballpark and the Peabody, but man a lot of homeless people begging. Then you have to valet your car at $32/day and then breakfast you have to pay for and over priced. No microwaves in rooms. Plus a lot of water damage in the building. Just beware.

Beautiful hotel with a nice cafe plus a separate bar. Really liked the brick wall in the lobby and local Memphis art also in the lobby. No parking at hotel so you have to park off-site yourself or use valet. Also rooms don't have a mini fridge

Ms Linae believe she was manager and was excellent had a very pleasant attitude, professional always. Would like to also speak of Jasmine and another lady was also very pleasant. The afternoon shift were not as pleasant at all. The rooms are basic, there are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms.

Normally we have a great experience with Doubletree. This time, however was different. After waiying over half an hour at check in, we finally were able to make it to our room. When we torned down the bed, there were blood stains on the sheets. When we called the front desk, they said they were sending someone up. 20 minutes later, someone arrived, handed us a stack of sheets and when we offered to show them the stains, we were told "I just drop off the sheets..." and he left.

I really enjoyed my 4-days in Memphis. This Double tree had good food and good housekeeping. Jazmine at the front desk along with 2 other ladies (waited 2-weeks to do the review) were outstanding. Different people from my group arrived at different times and everyone had only nice things to say about check-in including the very helpful valet car attendants.

This was a stay for a basketball tournament and we were overall pleased. The staff was top tier!!!! Valet, front desk, cleaning staff all were extremely accommodating and very helpful when needed. The lobby and bar area are nice. We had a great bar tender that introduced us to new drinks. Beale street and Fed Ex Forum are just about a block away. My only con for the hotel is that the rooms are dated and the bathrooms are small but other than that it was nice!

Great location, not so great valet service. Extra $25 for a early check in. Stayed 3 nights housekeeping never came, called twice (separate days) and still nothing. Not the best experience from a Doubletree. Nice bar and restaurant.
