「Good room with a nice area away from the bedroom. No lift so if you are on the second floor it is hard work with luggage. Don't pay for breakfast is my advice!」

「Magical stay in a beautiful castle! I ate the best meal I have ever had in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty! My husband said he had the best eggs! It was just a lovey stay, but book a taxi ahead of time as it’s difficult to reach them if you arrive in the evening. Go into Eschwege as it is a picturesque town with a very helpful tourist center.」

「This was a very unique experience. The building was a former monastery from the 1100s. We stayed on one of the upper floors which had low-clearance, original beams. I’m 6’4” and had to duck a lot. Maybe that wouldn’t be too fun for an extended stay. It was nice to have a cathedral ceiling. I think this was only in a few rooms. Bed was typical German stiff and slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet was one of the best of our trips so far. The Christmas market was only a 10 minute walk...
