A pleasant surprise;a hidden treasure.

Our stay was a Christmas gift from our children and it was amazing! We were blown away by the decore and style of the Manor and the service was amazing too. We were offered afternoon tea on our arrival in the Drawing room and the progressive meal in the evening was delicious and a lovely experience. We hope to visit again soon!

Facilities a bit run down. Garden suffering from drought. Lake empty so outlook poor. Bed terriblle you could hear the springs everytime u turned over. Evening al a carte meal not up to standard - cost was $100 per person for 2 course. We were looking for a long weekend getaway and to relax. It wasnt what we expected.

Wonderful Retreat

Woodmans Estate is a picturesque retreat – a great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle. My fiancé organised a wonderful night away after the Christmas craziness and we were greeted by tranquil surroundings and friendly staff. Our chalet was lovely and overlooked the lake. I had a massage with Stacey who I highly recommend, she had a calming energy and I was relaxed immediately. Then we had a sumptuous dinner followed by dessert on our private balcony. The staff were very accommodating bringing our dessert to the room. I can say my sleep was undisturbed and I woke up to the sound of ducks on the water. Breakfast was also very good and I can't stop thinking about the muesli and yogurt. Do try it for breakfast. All in all Woodmans made us feel welcomed, relaxed and indulged. Woodman's service and staff are superb – Thank you for the get-away.

Quiet and peaceful setting

When we arrived we were greeted by name to the estate, shown around the delightful and full of character building and then shown to our room. The garden room was small but had all the amenities you would need. After a lovely walk around the beautiful lake we then had dinner in the brasserie, which was delicious. The lamb shoulder for two was sensational, highly recommend it. We had chocolate cake for dessert, a little too much chilie, but delicious anyway. The local wine was also faultless. Breakfast was cooked to order and the waitress staff were very helpful

Nice relaxing getaway

Easy to reach, loved the relaxing atmosphere in and outside the retreat. Despite having lost power for most of the evening, food and service at the hotel was quite good. Breakfast was fresh and very enjoyable. Would recommend for couples and families.

Very Cozy Hotel

Nice place, cozy and friendly staff. Breakfast was extremely awesome. Just the dinner, we ordered a plate of seasoned vegi...was out of our expectation. In general, we definitely we come back a again!!!

Very nice stay, maybe a little bit on the $$$ side

Had a very nice night here with my girlfriend, lovely rooms, helpful staff and the food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Although I still Couldn't help feeling that we that we weren't quite getting value for money as it was quite expensive.
