Cheap. Good location
Cheap and great location. Looking a bit sad in the hallways. Has parking but it was a bit tight. Room was ok. Very old. Not a fan of the "bathroom" - Shower and toilet in a glass box with no room to move. TV didn't work well. But for the price. I would stay again.

Nice little hotel. Quiet street. Very clean. Receptionists very good
Room was simple but comfortable. The television had very poor signal though. Could hardly get reception for any channels and had a strong whistle in the background at all times. Shower-head was very low over the bath, had to crouch a little. Very limited parking (only about 10 spots for the whole hotel). Free Wifi was good and the park across the road is quite nice.
Would never recommend staying here, coffee cup stains all over bench, bed a very small queen if it was a queen, TV didn't work properly, so glad we only stayed overnight
We've stayed here before, and liked it. But NEVER again. Here's the list of 'Ick' points:
Cracked tiles in the bathroom.
Bathroom fan did not work, so bathroom unhealthily full of steam, didn't want to open door in case alarm went off.
Water continuously running next door, and not just a refilling cistern. Far too noisy for that.
Power point next to bed was falling off. The silica used to make a quick repair last time had started to peel off.
The power point was near the bedside table, which had a leg very close to breaking. There was a glass lamp on top of the table.
Could not get anywhere near the number of channels on the T.V. that are available in Melbourne, despite reloading.
Car spaces are too narrow - a fellow guest damaged our Micra with her car door. And there are not enough spaces for the amount of rooms.
Lift seems dangerously antiquated. Keep thumping the buttons. Will work - eventually.
Bed bugs. I know, because I checked with the local hospital just yesterday. I'm very itchy and entirely unhappy.
I have actually reported it to the local Council.

Nice enough a very basic room, staff were friendly and helpful exterior could use some cleaning and parking is very small
Nice location but cheap for a reason! We booked and paid for two nights but got no sleep on first night due to overheated room, noisy plumbing, banging doors , people talking and smoking outside our room , bad damp odour in room, so we went home early. More of a one or two star hotel def not three :-(
Staff were super friendly and extremely helpful in relation to directions for trams, where to buy myki cards, etc.

Comfortable hotel in South Yarra - handy location
I stayed for 3 nights in a comfortable ground floor room, with just adequate facilities for my stay - i.e. bathroom, clothes storage and size. Breakfast either continental or a full breakfast at reasonable rates and in a pleasant environment. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Very disappointed. stayed there on the recommendation of a friend - never again. It had not changed since I last stayed there in 1993!!
The furniture in the diningroom needed reupholstering

Weekend stay
Only there for a short stay and location was good for us.
Clean, good comfy bed, rather dated looking ex-motel - rock n roll meets boudoir.
Air-cond was a bit noisy and room could do with more lights perhaps?
Shower in bathtub was a bit unsteady to get out of.

Albany hotel
Very pleasant. Nothing too up market,but great,for a peaceful,getaway.
Reception area had the air con going when I went in it was extremely noisy and needs to be fixed.
Aircon it the room was fine, TV reception was very ordinary on a lot of channels, cleanliness was just so so, musty and old.
Bed was more comfy than it looked.
Wouldn't call it value for money, but given there were three adults, $140 was ok to pay, my thoughts the room was only worth $100
