I love old hotels, their charm, their character, their history. Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne was amazing. They've preserved the internal old staircase and it is like walking back in time. The rooms are all refurbished with very comfy beds. You can walk along the Yarra River and take the tram down to the beach easily. I would stay here again.

Buffet breakfast not that good,a lot of food run out waiting for plates, first morning when we went for breakfast a sign said wait to be seated then a waiter told us it was a free for all and said good luck. Definitely not a 4 star rating. Not a VIP Expedia hotel.
