Location is good, free tram zone downstairs. House keeping is far from satisfactory. The trash at the bathroom was not removed on my 1st day of arrival. Cleaned cup was still with my lipstick on on my 2nd night. There was NO telephone in my room, I had to go to the reception to fix the wifi which was not working in the room. We stayed on the 7th floor, but need to change lift on 3A floor before going to the 7th floor. The staff are helpful and friendly. Considering the cost of the room, the overall stay is average

Warm welcome when check-in and paid a promotion price to get an upgrade (good view) with 2 Free buffet breakfast next door (not bad deal). Location is good, only 10 mins walk to QVM and 24hr convenient store just downstairs. Within 15 mins walk to south cross station to get SkyBus yo airport.

住宿地點很不錯，從南十字星車站大約只需5~10分鐘的走路路程；鄰近市中心，採買與購物都很方便。(附近還有郵局，若想寄明信片也很方便)。配備有完整的廚具與餐具，方便開伙。 The location is perfect; it only takes 5-to-10-minute walk to the hotel from Southern Cross Station. The hotel is near the CBD, which makes it especially convenient for shopping. (If you want to send postcards, a post office is nearby,too) The room is equipped with cookers and utensils; you can use them to cook your meal.

威廉姆街威橡酒店員工親切友善，房間寛敞，還有煮食爐具可以弄點早、午、晚餐，非常方便，酒店門口就有免費電車搭到城市景點，如再到墨爾本亦會再次入住。

Sleeping with the bugs :( Room 1916. The morning reception said will call me when the room is available but he didn’t, it’s fine but they’re representing the hotel. The first night was great. Good location. Amazing view. Generally friendly staff. But the second night which is the moment I’m writing now. SO MANY BUGS, I have to get them out for a long long time. Just to make sure always keep your curtain draw to block bugs. I hate this room but I also love it... In comparison to Sydney, the staff attitude is a plus for this hotel!

I had a 3-night stay at the Oaks on William, Melbourne in Sep and it really disappointed me. One day, when I returned to my room after a full day of outdoor activity, I found that the room door was left widely opened with a spoon at the door hinge obstructing the door. I was later told that it was probably because the housekeeping staff had forgotten to close the door after cleaning in the early afternoon, which meant the door was left widely open for 9 hours with unlimited access by other people. The hotel replied me at first expressing their apology but then did not further follow up on this matter about my loss of personal items (not necessarily to compensate but at least to reply whether it was found in the premise or not). It was totally unacceptable for such passive manner in handling customer's enquiry. I would seriously ask my friends to think twice before staying at Oaks.

整體的住宿經驗算是不錯，房間寬敞，有廚房和很大的冰箱。不過飯店走道有一個很特的味道，每次經過的時候都會覺得不舒服，但是房間內完全不會聞到。位置很好，在 free zone 中，交通方便，附近有許多餐廳。

good location , service can be better.
Very Good location to take trams , train , Skybus. Walking distance to most of the city sightseeing points and Queen Victoria market. Within tram no.35 free zone area. Kitchen was good equipped, good to buy food at market to cook. If Hotel can provide salt & oil , it will be prefect. Daily clean room is so so , still can find tidy rubbish on floor & corner. Shower water pressure is not enough , bathing water comes out so slow.
