Arrived at property and was told my booking had been moved to another property (Arrows on Swanston). When I got to the other property I had to wait 2 hours for a room which although looked clean the carpets were filthy and had an odour.

We were pleased with our stay. In particular the staff were very helpful. In the first attempt we thought the lift was not functional and we used the stairs. Turns out the button just needs a firmer press.

Brilliant Brisbane

Excellent position for access to the city. Could do with a repaint and dishwasher wasn’t working but it was lovely to be in a residential setting, very quiet, easy access to shops.

Initially difficulty getting key. I arrived at 4.45pm to find office closed. Trying the three numbers given , no response. Eventually got someone. Someone had to let me into building so I could get mobile number. All sorted but not a good introduction. Room was okay. Plenty of hot water. Windows looked onto brick wall and pigeons kept cooing. Place needs an update. I will not stay again

Small room with a window facing concrete wall. All that can be seen outside the window is pigeon poo. Room very hot and stuffy. Woken by pigeons before 6am. Bathroom mouldy and not clean.

Room was clean. No noise all evening. Only negative was reception closed 4:45 when it said it was open till 5. We knocked on window and the person helped us but you could tell he wanted to leave. It wasn’t till I got to the room that I saw they’d emailed me instructions for retrieving key cards.

You get what you pay for...

Basic, run down and cockroaches in the kitchen, carpet needed a serious deep clean as full of dirt, bathroom grates needed a good scrub, balcony covered in bird droppings. Fire alarm went off on second night, barely heard it in the room, luckily one person heard and woke the rest, however an alarm was left continuously going for 2 days straight after. You get what you pay for, definitely won't be staying again, barely what I'd class as a 2 star hotel, these 5 star reviews are totally paid for.

Clean facilities and consumables, and easy and convenient access close to transport. Police station across the road made it very safe. However, property itself was in quite poor condition with many scratched, stained or poorly repaired aspects. Also, the traffic noise throughout the night was fairly substantial - although this is fairly unavoidable. Fine for the one night that we stayed just to sleep in, but wouldn’t have wanted to stay there for a longer time frame.

Very unworthy . I asked the receiptionist for the adjustment of the booking made mistakenly on 20 june to transfer to 6 th june . I went to the premises and came to know they had room . But he said he didnot want to transfer as they had no room. So poor and customer unfriendly hotel. I recommend anyone who is going over there . Do not go
