This is a great place to stay for a one-nighter on a long journey. The place is currently undergoing updates, which are not messy (things like new doors). Our room smelled as if it had previously hosted smokers, which wasn’t ideal. The bed was VERY comfortable. Our stay was nice, quiet and dark, great sleep quality. The TV had a good selection of options and hosts were very helpful and friendly. Things to note (which did not weigh into this review): Unfortunately the website hours for the Mexican restaurant next door are not reliable, but the location is close to a McDonald’s and a small town that has decent pizza.

Working out in Dundulk. Wanted to get some extra rest so I spent two nights here. Wanted a good nights sleep which is what I got. Room was clean, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable. So for me that is a 5 rating for a motel.

The bathtub was very dirty and damaged. The remote for the 'fireplace' which was also the electric heater for the room didn't work well, and eventually I just unplugged the unit to moderate the temperature in the room, and then plugged it back in when morning came and the room was very cool. Check-in was efficient. The cost was very reasonable, and the room reflected the low cost. It was very clearly 'getting what you paid for' - In terms of value for what you paid for, this property is very good.

Super friendly staff. They noticed we left some items in the room then flagged us down before we drove off. They didn’t hassle us about being late getting out. The room was very homey. Fireplace was a great touch. The room also had AC.

Les photos ne correspondent pas a la réalité. Exterieur miteux, plein de trainerie un peu partout. Les fenêtres très sales. La majorité des chambres sont pour des residents permanents avec plein d objets qui trainent aux portes. Le plus, plancher bois flottant, drap propre.

It was quite ok n clean n less expensive. The mattress needs to be changed as I couldn't sleep the whole night. May some water bottles in the fridge would have been nice.

terribly stinky room full of pets hair

Pet hair was everywhere on the bedding. The stench in the room was unbearable. Did someone die in there and was only found 4 weeks later? Or is this room a cigar club on other days? I can't describe it. But it was terrible. Everything is loose, worn out, ramshackle.

Our room itself was clean and updated nicely, but the towels were mismatched, old and ragged. One even had tar or something caked into it, but you the TV/satellite was new, as was the bedding and flooring. The outside needs tome TLC & clean up, and there were regular tenants in several rooms that had large dogs roaming around, so it was a bit nerve-wracking for someone who is afraid of dogs. Owner was SUPER friendly and helpful though.

Good basic motel

This is a basic motel on the way north. We stayed two nights and the bed was very comfortable. The room had basic amenities which included a fridge and microwave. It was clean and functional. For a place directly on a highway (regional highway), it was quite quiet. The owners care about their establishment and their guests. We would recommend this place.

There was a separate entrance in the room and parking was in front of the room which was great. Availability of 2 queen beds was nice but the mattresses were sounding cho cho cho. Cleaning was unsatisfactory. And there was shortage of staff. Microwave, small fridge and tv was there in the room.
