「I was pleasantly surprised with the Hotel and staff. The staff were nice and willing to work with us on our needs with our room. The dock of the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion on the shore of Lake Tahoe in Sugar Pines Point State Park. The lake is magical in itself, but sitting there enjoying the entirety of the scenery is breath-taking. The mansion tour is US $12 and a very nice docent led exploration. The grounds have a lot to see as it is a part of a larger state park. Cheaper than the Vikingsholm tour nearby and much less crowded.
