The location is excellent. You have lot of options for eating. The night life is also within 5 minutes of walking. The staff is friendly and nice. The breakfast is basic but ok. The rooms do not have windows but the location more than makes up for it.

Great Place

Nice place to stay in the heart of El Poblado. Yet not so noisy. Breakfast was nice, a nice start to the day with coffee and a smile from Emily.

Quiet room for sleeping - no windows

The hotel is small but has good size rooms, but there are no windows. It is clean and affordable. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is good, near to bars and restaurants but it is very noisy all day and until late night.

the room is clean and cozy. it is small and not very sound proof, but it’s a good deal with the money. i used earplugs which helped. the front desk is very helpful.

One concern: Only one exit in case of a fire. Windows and doors had bars on them. Sometimes the only exit was locked with a key from the inside. It could have been a death trap.

The location and quietness of the hotel were the best qualities. The price was pretty low but for a few dollars more you could probably stay in a nicer place closeby. The lack of windows in the room made things a bit dreary as there was absolutely no natural lighting. I also left a phone charger in the room. I went back and the reception said the housekeeper took it home with her (WHY wouldn't they just leave it at the front desk office?!!). The manager stopped by and said they would drop off my phone at my new hotel that night or first thing the next morning since I would be leaving late morning. The next day comes and I ask at my new hotel reception if anyone had dropped off a charger. They told me the Veler had called and said they now had the charger at their reception but that I had to come and get it. This is after the Veler manager had assured me they would drop it off at my new hotel (probably a 5-6 minute walk away). This was really annoying since I was preparing to depart the city. I had to leave a bit early and have my Uber stop at the Veler so that I may pick it up. I'm mostly disappointed about how the Veler handled it all from the housekeeper taking the charger home with her, the manager making false promises to me and the rude attitude that the front desk woman had at the Veler. I did end up changing hotels mid-visit even though I had paid for my full stay because I did find a SIGNIFICANTLY nicer hotel at a great price nearby. It was worth the upgrade!
