「The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too!
Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun!

「Não tenho nada a apontar, é difícil descrever a paz, tranquilidade, e bem estar que se sente nestas casas, toda a envolvência magica. O cuidado e pormenores da decoração… O pequeno almoço ótimo, a disponibilidade dos funcionários irrepreensível, é para voltar… Adoramos, foi em aniversário de casamento, e foi perfeito! 」

「Tout le personnel fut d'une gentillesse à faire pâlir les grands hôtels. La chambre était grande, moderne et tres fonctionnelle. La propriété est immense et superbement entretenue. Le petit déjeuner ? Un délice sur toute la ligne avec un bon choix de pain, gâteaux, fromage, charcuteries et biens d'autres choses. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cet établissement. 」
