This hotel was absolutely amazing. We were in the area due to a high school state powerlifting meet. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast every morning was well prepared, well-stocked, and delicious. The pool was operating, which my kids loved. And they actually provide housekeeping every day. The housekeeping staff came to our rooms to make our beds, bring fresh towels, and take our trash from the trash bin. It was a wonderful stay, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!! Definitely FIVE stars in my book.

Our Room had a very loud thumping noise like pipes or something all night long started arpund 3am in the roof or walls and never stopped waited until the next morning to ask for a diffrent room bc we were staying there 4 days and they said there was nothing the could do that they were booked and or no refund to go somewhere else so i said i was just going to leave a pretty bad 1 star review and we were just going to go somewhere else then all the sudden they had other rooms available and had us in another room in under a min it was pretty disappointing but is what it is

Elevator definitely needs a work order put in , breakfast wasn’t good at all , not much selection and beans looked inedible. Room doors do NOT close unless you pull it or push it to close. It was just ok. Indoor pool was a plus

I stayed there one night. In the morning I found a bug in the shower, and possible a second one. The entire hotel smelt like a pool, the elevator door took an entire minute to close, and the girl at the front desk was rude the night I checked in.

The Hotel was very clean! Very close to Airport and would definitely stay there again!!

The breakfast menu was good. The room was not very clean. It needed to vacuum better, and and some trash on the floor. Also when we went to the pool the 1st evening, there were no pool towels, so I asked bathe girl in the front desk and she was very rude and did not look like she wanted to be there.

Our toilet clogged within an hour of checking in on Friday afternoon. I called the front desk and was told maintenance would come, so we left for the evening. When we returned around 8pm, no one had come to fix it. The receptionist then offered another room or maintenance the next day so instead of packing our bags we chose to wait for the following morning. By the next morning, the issue still had not been addressed. After running errands, I had to go to the front desk in person to explain that it had been nearly 24 hours without a working toilet and that we had been using the lobby restroom. At that point, I was told the toilet clogged because toilet paper should not be flushed, something we were never informed of at check-in. The receptionist mentioned some staff were new and may have forgotten to explain this, and also shared that she herself had been unclogging guest toilets due to short staffing. While she was polite, this situation was extremely inconvenient and could have been avoided with proper communication and faster response.

there wasn't any hot water. had to take an uncomfortable cold shower that morning. I was awakened by a hotel alarm that went off at 2:04 am. No one was at front desk in the am. rang bell but no response, hotel management left a note at front desk "if checking out just leave card key" I stay here every time I come to RGV and have never had any problems. Maybe it's "under new management"
