「From check in to departure, I was treated with respect by all. Hotel is a bit outdated, but never hampered my stay. Only request would be for an earlier serving of coffee for us early risers. Perhaps 6:00-am」

「The front desk staff were not helpful when I asked to book a taxi, and all meals were expected to be paid by credit card (I had cash) but the hotel was clean and the dining room staff were attentive and friendly. 「I was very UNHAPPY! First time being disappointed in Mazatlán. First off, there’s a limit to how many people can stay in a room and they charge for every person including children under 8! I don’t like going to a hotel where the staff wants to invade my privacy and wants to know who all is staying in my room including names and ages. Absolutely could not have had a better vantage point to watch the show. Will definitely make this a tradition for us when we are in Mazatlan during carnival. Muchas gracias! 」

「Colourful and traditional decor, good breakfast, lovely spots to hang out in the courtyard, patio, rooftop. You can borrow chairs and umbrella for the nearby beach. Bonus: Great view of the Carnaval parade from the rooftop but if you come at that time, just note you’ll hear the festivities until late.
