There was bodily fluid and hair on the sheets and the toilet didn't work. I'm disabled and they had no other rooms. Also the microwave is next to the elevator. They denied my refund, but I wasn't going to be staying here again anyway. Best to avoid.

I loved it here! The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and super comfortable. The location was great. It has restaurants, a grocery store, walmart and dollar store near by which was really convenient. The hotel also has a bar/restaurant on site and the food was delicious. for breakfast, they gave out $5 vouchers where you can choose between two different places. one was a coffee shop that had pastries and breakfast sandwiches and the other was more of a sit down restaurant. we tried both places and liked them both. those vouchers definitely came in handy. love that it was a smaller hotel which made it quiet and feel more intimate and cozy. It gave a family feel to it. If I travel back to Kentucky, I will definitely be staying here again and I recommend others to stay here as well.

The Meadows Hotel is totally amazing. The history of it is a testament to American values. The feeling of staying here is that of an up- scale yet historic experience. My wife and I loved the stay and plan to return soon.

Neat place. The staff were excellent, very nice and always had a smile. Room could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was nice. Loved that it was historic and the area is just really neat. I would stay again.

Save yourself and do not stay here. From outward appearance, we thought this was going to be a cute little boutique hotel where we could get a good night's sleep. Their website advertises an included breakfast. Not only does it not even include a cheesy continental breakfast there, you get given a $5 voucher to use at 2 restaurants in town where $5 won't come close to covering breakfast. The first night, the fridge in the room was clanking so loudly that we were woken up repeatedly. We figured, these things can happen and unplugged it for the second night. Not getting any sleep the first night, we were really ready for some rest night two. Housekeeping never came in and re-set the room. The second night was absolutely horrible. There is a bar/restaurant on the first level that apparently is the party spot for the town and where they have no issues over serving their patrons. We got to the hotel around midnight and encounter 6-10 very drunken college aged people. We went upstairs and assumed they would leave and we could get some rest. Apparently they were staying in the hotel as well. Yelling, kicking and banging on doors, doors slamming, and arguing went on until 3am. I called the front desk. They did very little to assure me they would get the situation under control. I gave them 30 minutes, then had to call the non-emergency police number. Around 3:30am, it finally calmed down. We had to get up at 6:00am so got no sleep for two nights.

The room was generally just OK. Only two flimsy wire hangers in the closet, not luggage racks to place luggage on, one of the two sinks did not drain at all, Expedia advertised free breakfast but the hotel only provided a $5 breakfast voucher for each person which did not cover the cost of breakfast (very disappointed with this). Expedia misrepresented the free breakfast for sure.
