Lorraine, the property manager, was great! So chatty and helpful. The bed was comfy. We were able to cook meals, watch tv at the end of our day. Good shower. It was a nice home away from home. You'll need to bring your own paper towels & napkins. There is no cooking oil or spices other than s&p. We were happy with it.

Beautiful cottage and so so clean. Had everything we needed including a dishwasher, our own deck with bbq. We enjoyed the super quietness at night because with small child we are up early and need a good night's sleep Our bed was super comfy, firm for support but with a nice thick topper it was like laying on clouds. Cottage is nicely laid out with nice big open concept kithcen/living room with lots of seating (sofabed and 2 sofa chairs). Cottages are set back from each other so we didn't see our neighbors when we were out on the deck. Yes there are rules as the previous review mention but they are just common sense things that people should do anyway. It's not a place to stay if you want to party cause they maintain a very quiet place. Highly recommend this place if you want a very clean place to stay and a quiet place. within 5-10 minutes of everything in Cavendish and North Rustio, attractions, shopping, dining etc. Charlottetown is only 30 mins drive. Will return

We really enjoyed our stay at Mayfield Country Cottages. Cottage was super clean and super quiet by 10pm. I really like that they don't allow the smoking of Cannabis on their property because I can't stand the smell and don't want my children around the smell. They have a great playground for the kids and our kids enjoyed the heated pool. Only 6-7 mins to Shining Waters and Sandspit Parks and the Cavendish Beach but away from all the Cavendish congestion. I read the other review about the too many rules and wondered what it was going to be like. When I arrived, the manager checked me in and went over the policy with me. Nothing to complain about, just some common sense things that should be adhered to anyway when using someone else's property such as No Smoking inside Can't cook fish inside (but can on the deck with the outside stoves) Quite time is posted and states no hanging out on the decks after quiet time States the Pool hours, office hours, hours for towel exchange at the office, and about dropping off your keys at check out. Not quite sure why the previous guest was upset but to each their own I guess. We have no problem to return or recommend this property. I've stayed at high end hotels for business and they were not as clean as our cottage. Cottage was well kept in great order, had a dishwasher, our own deck with propane bbq, a/c but we didn't need it, satellite tv so lots of channels.
