"It was a good hotel."

"Iconic hotel but on arrival the pool and the outside restaurants were closed due to the areas being taken over for a private party. Would have been good to have been notified in advance about this as it was a weekend. Very loud after party until the early hours for the new Michael film. Again no communication about this. Staff wonderful and if you can get a cabana room then it is a superb hotel. The main block rooms are nothing overly special. Not as good as my last stay."

"Very nice, clean and spacious room, with lovely decor. Convenient location. There is a kitchenette, but it has no plates, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. we asked for the kitchen kit, and only received 3 plate, 3 bowls and 3 sets of cutlery, when there were 5 guests registered. The kitchenette was part of the reason for choosing the hotel, but we couldn’t use it without cooking utensils. The sofa bed was not made up when we arrived, and we had to ask for bedding and do it ourselves. Not great when arriving late at night with children. Aside from these inconveniences, it was an otherwise pleasant stay. "

"This hotel is very outdated and staff were not welcoming. When I checked in(after a 6 hour flight), the first thing that the receptionist "STRESSED" was that there was a $300 deposit for incidentals as if I was not aware of this. It was rude and had very bad energy surrounding it. The second issue I had was that they checked me into a room facing the HVAC systems on the rooftop. When asked to switch rooms, I was told they were "fully booked" - yet there were rooms showing available online. It was a very unpleasant stay and I'd never book here again."

"Great location, however we were placed in a room at the front of the property and the outside noise was incredibly loud overnight (loud bass music from parked cars outside). We called the front desk and security didn’t seem to want to address this. A bit disappointing for such a well reviewed hotel. Rooms were ok"

"They put us on the 3rd floor right next to the lobby, and baggage carts. The first room on the left, with a pool view. The music was so loud till 10pm maybe, which was whatever but then the baggage carts being slammed into the wall all morning starting around 625am left a lot to be desired. Not sure I’d recommend staying here. Cool location though."

"What a gem! You can’t find space like that in Hollywood anymore, and the included breakfast is incredible. The hostess, Deborah, had a great positive energy each day!"

"We booked this hotel last year and the reviews were great. Upon arrival one of our party was quite upset due to her cards not working and the staff was mot helpful at all just started at her in disgust. We were also told no further charges were to be made as it was all prepaid through virgin then having over 200 dollars debited from the account! The male members of reception were pretty good but the females were arrogant and ignorant when asking questions or advice. The smell of weed was present throughout the floors and in the lift which wasn’t a nice encounter. I believe this place offered better service before the Hilton takeover which seemed to be what I heard a few customers saying "
