「Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure.」

「The pictures posted to advertise this place and rating as 4-star was deceiving. We booked deluxe rooms, on entry the reception area was dark, no proper lighting and looked like we walked into haunted place. On entry to room, all I can smell was cigarettes smoke, room was unkempt, the walls were filthy, peeling of wallpapers or paint, stained chairs, flickering light in the toilet, chipped cups etc.. List gets bigger and bigger, I don't want to waste any further time with a review for this hotel...

「Water was not coming in the flush when checked in. It was rectified within half hour. Said that tank was empty. Okey, but early in the morning, the situation was same. Just imagine flush not working early in the morning, and not having a bucket or things like that. Secondly, even after rectification water was dripping just outside the washroom. Such things usually happen in cheap hotels. Sorry to mention these.」
