The location was good. Shower is extremely SMALL. There is a shared kitchen , however it's the family's kitchen which makes it VERY uncomfortable to use. The right up is very misleading and makes it sound like the kitchen is to be shared with other guests. A seperate fridge and kettle would help. Parking is limited, however we managed to be able to park out front.

Convenient stay in the heart of Matera

The property is just a stone throw from the train station, and only takes 2 minutes to walk into the old town of Matera. The owner speak very little English, but strive to help with the use of translator, he gave me plenty of tips about Matera. Breakfast is basic like what you will get in most places, but sufficient. Highly recommend

Bon accueil, bon emplacement

Natale est super accueillant, gentil et dévoué. Il m'a expliqué les visites intéressantes et propose un tour guidé par une agence qui etait très bien. Je crois que ca vaut la peine si vous voulez bien connaitre l'histoire de Matera Petit déjeuner tres bien, les croissants sont juste wow !!! Emplacement parfait a 3 min de marche de la gare et a peine 10 min de marche du centre. Tout etait propre et confortable

Natale nous a très bien accueilli, il est très sympathique et nous a donné beaucoup d'informations sur les lieux à visiter à Matera. Il nous a également aidé à descendre nos valises. L'emplacement est idéal pour la visite du centre historique de Matera, seulement 5 minutes à pied et possibilité de se garer dans les parkings autour de l'établissement.

Great host

Our host was extremely friendly and informative. He rented us a room en suite in his apartment and gave us keys to the bedroom, the apartment, and the building. He furnished us with a city map and spent time showing us several important places to visit in Matera.

La cosa più bella è stata la gentilezza sollecita e nello stesso tempo molto discreta dei proprietari. A questo vanno aggiunti, e non è da poco, struttura nuovissima e ben tenuta. Buona anche la posizione: vicinissima ai trasporti pubblici (treno e bus) e alla città storica, i "Sassi"

Comfortable and enjoyable

I booked this place for its proximity to the train station but ended up driving instead. But there are plenty of space in the street for parking and it's free. The owner was very helpful. Even his wife helped me carry my suitcase up only 3 short flights of steps. The whole family lives there but the young children were very well behaved and not noisy at all. The room was modern new and very clean. The aircon was strong and this is important as it was very hot. There were toiletries and even a safe. Although there were no kettle and coffee and tea facilities, the hosts were always prepared to help make you hot water to make coffee or tea. I bought some fruits and they even help cut them and store in the fridge. The tv had no English channels and the host spoke only little English.

Posizione ottima per parcheggiare tranquillamente l' auto e raggiungere il centro di Matera e i sassi. La famiglia di Natale vi accolti con la massima ospitalità e i loro consigli sono stati preziosi per la nostra visita in città. Buonissima la colazione con cornetti e pane fresco e prodotti del territorio come le fragole della Basilicata. Da consigliare vivamente.

We had a good stay, Natale, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful, the room was clean and good sized, bath room was also very clean and good size, walking 5 minutes to the main plaza and the sasso, the only down side was the building, got un bu surprise in the behgining but it was over all a great stay
