This is a boutique Hotel in the Sassi...location and place is exceptional and a great location right in the heart of everything. The hotel was excellent great staff and super clean and organised. The breakfast was exceptional.I will stay here again and would recommend to my family and friends.

Great property with amazing views. Our room was immaculate and charming. We had everything we needed and the staff were all lovely especially the gentleman who checked us in. Thank you to all the wonderful staff! Nothing was too much trouble and any issue we had was quickly resolved. We would definitely stay again!

Wow! Great hotel in Matera

Wow! This hotel was recently remodeled and it was amazing. We stayed in Room 14 with a family of 4. It was spacious and perfect for us. The view of Matera from the room windows was amazing. We had a seating area at our front door and a balcony. The location was great and we will come back to this hotel again. The breakfast area was also remodeled and it turned out amazing. The rooms are in an old cave house.

Perfect Location+

This hotel was perfectly located. I was able to walk all through I Sassi and see the most important sights in my day there. I stayed two nights. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. I would like to return to Matera and would stay at this same hotel.

A great stay

The people here could not have been nicer. The hotel is in a good location and has a nice view from the patio/terrace. The rooms are spacious and have a “cave-y” vibe, which is appropriate but it seems to make every noise a little bit louder.

What should have been a wonderful stay in a cool cave hotel ended with being locked inside of the bathroom because the old rickety key and lock broke. Now, things happen but it's how the staff handled it. After staff members tried several keys I was told they would call someone else. By this point I had been locked in there for half an hour. A manager showed up who was so rude and condescending that she should never be allowed in hospitality. We had a taxi waiting for us because we had a planned tour hours away. She stated that she would call someone else but wouldn't know if this would take 10 minutes or 60. Which is crazy considering it had been half an hour already. She stated that 30 minutes being locked in there is not even that long. So finding her demeanor totally unacceptable and not willing to wait another hour I tried climbing out the window where she repeatedly yelled at me not to because of liability. She also called me crazy in an incredibly rude way. I couldn't fit anyway so I am still stuck. Another staff member finally showed up with another key and popped the door open which he thought was pretty funny. I of course did not. This is where it gets even better. I got blamed for it. Apparently it was my fault that their door broke and locked me in the bathroom. We explained that because of this whole ordeal that we were now going to miss a very expensive tour that we booked. She did care at all and refused to do anything. She blamed and even swore at me. Horrible

una ciudad a volver a visitar en el mismo hotel

lo unico que he observado ya que el lugar vale la pena volver a ir esta en relacion con el parqueo, el hotel deberia ser mas clara y decir en su presentacion"no hay parqueo en el hotel, para quienes lo deseen hay la opcion de parquear por 25 euros/dia el el parqueo nicoletti y de ahi sera trasladado por transfer a 5 euros por persona la ida y la vuelta al hotel y asi uno podria reservar el parqueo desde ya con el hotel y evitar la ansiedad del donde dejar el auto. Una vez que dejamos el auto, la gente del parqueo hasta nuestro nombre tenia y nosotros no sabiamos que nos esperaban. eso se afina y la experiencia se redondea mundial

Hôtel idéalement situé dans le sassi barisano. Endroit où sont les hôtels. Les restaurants sont plus du cote du sassi caveoso. Accueil sympa, petit déjeuner varié avec gâteau fait maison très bon. Literie ok oreille un peu dur. Nous avions chambre pour 4 avec petite terrasse prisée vu sur matera c’était parfait. Gros bémol sur l’insonorisation des chambres on entend les voitures passer très vite jusque tard le soir. Parking à l’extérieur du centre historique mais très accessible à pied. Réservation à faire sur internet via le mail de contact de l’hôtel avant d’arriver. 20€ la journée. L’hôtel ne fait pas restaurant le midi ni le soir.
