This is a beautiful property located about 20 mins drive from Sorrento. We lived at their charming old Sorrentine villa, which is a short walk away from the main building. It is quiet , spacious and have balconies overlooking the town below and the bay . You can enjoy the view of Mt Vesuvius across the bay , from the rooftop too.. Every single person working at the hotel - the reception desk , restaurants , Giovanni - our pick up driver and the lady at the bar - every one greets you with a smile on their face. The deck behind the bar, is a great place to enjoy the view with a glass of Hetmitage Sunset. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel which takes you to Sorrento town , so you can do your shopping and come back in time to have your dinner . The village behind the hotel is about 10 mins walk, and has some great local restaurants. You must visit Lo Stuzzichino for its seafood pasta. Pizzeria Buenos Aires and Di Mimi also serves fantastic Italian food. The desert shop next to the village church is also a must visit. If I come back to Sorrento, I will definitely stay here again.

Incredible customer service, communication, and reliability. We felt extremely welcomed and taken care of during our stay here—every detail was taken care of and personalized to make sure we felt relaxed and comfortable. Also- AMAZING view. This was the perfect place to enjoy Sorrento.

Very professional and polite staff. Excellent breakfast. We stayed in the villa. The room was very basic. Shower was very small and easy to flood the floor due to only a pull-around curtain. But there was a very nice and spacious common area.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here. It was so peaceful and quiet with the most amazing views of Mt. Vesuvius. The staff were super helpful and friendly with all recommendations. The rooms were quite large with beautiful tile floors and a large balcony. The 10 minute walk into the village was a beautiful little nature walk and the village itself was the perfect location for dinners (try Bueno Aires Ristorante) and to grab a few fresh fruits and coffee etc.. We liked the peaceful atmosphere opposed to the hustle and bustle of Sorrento but liked that they had a shuttle that runs quite often to take you to the heart of Sorrento. The breakfast was also a great bonus with lots of options for food, coffee, and juices. The pool was a little too chilly for our stay but we happily enjoyed some sun next to it. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return one day 🇨🇦🇨🇦

This family owned hotel is by far the best place I have stayed in Italy. The staff is amazing. The restaurant has different menus each evening. And there is no better view of the gulf of Naples. If your plans take you anywhere near Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi, you absolutely must spend some time at the Grand Hotel Hermitage. Five stars is insufficient. I’m thinking it’s closer to eight. Say hello for me to Guillermo, one of the owners who is there daily. He ensures that your stay is unforgettable.

We were very pleased with our stay! From the second we pulled up, after a long road trip and arriving close to midnight, the staff was so hospitable. Helping us bring our luggage in while it was pouring rain. Past the entrance doors we were greeted by the most gracious reception members and we felt at ease immediately. My husband and i are very low key, low maintenance type of travelers and love to do what the locals do, the concierge (so sad we forgot his name) was the friendliest, with the best recommendations and helped our stay be spectacular. Sadly we got colder weather so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool but the views from our sea view room was amazing!! We will definitely book a stay here again and recommend to all who are looking to visit the area! Room was clean and to our humble liking :) thank you so much to the Hermitage for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel with on site restaurant! We had a view on sea and Vesuvius from our balcony. Food was delicious. The hotel had a free shuttle to Sorrento. The pool was a plus. Rooms are spacious and clean. We had a great time staying there. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The location was perfect! Close to everything and a small town where you can get food and drinks. Downtown Sorrento is also very close. Full breakfast was a plus, the view from the hotel and rooms is amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us, super clean, family friendly, and they are very helpful with tips on what to do or where to go.
