Breakfast menu was scant. There were eggs but the microwave didn’t work. Counters were sticky. The view from my room was a tow yard/car dump. The room they tried to give me at first hadn’t been cleaned. The bed had been slept in and there was garbage.

The property was dirty. The room was disgusting. The towels need to be thrown in the trash. They smell like dirty floors. It was just a dirty Hotel man who the hell wants to stay in a place like that. I’ll never stay there again. Have a good day.

Room floor dirty, dusty and fridge was off which had an odor when opened. Three person stay but room only had 2 bath towels. We couldn’t get more until housekeeping came in at 10am.

Im sure the staff are trying their best, but immediately upon receiving my key... it did not work. I went back downstairs to be given a new key but was given a new room (not a big deal). I struggled to get into the property with that key too, but eventually the door opened. Once in the room was a lot cleaner than expected, but my husband was complaining about a strong odor (I lost my sense of smell a long time ago). We started investigating and discovered brown stains on the sheets. Shortly after touching everything and being in the room (10 minutes tops) my husband and I start struggling to breathe followed by itching all over. My 9 year old started breaking out in hives. 6 days later and our throats are still sore. The staff was quick to check us out and refund our reservation with no pushback.

First stay with EconoLodge.

Building is older and has had some wear and tear. I noted an air cleaner in the bathroom ceiling that is WAY past due for replacement or cleaning. Linens were all newer and clean. Room had a balcony which was a nice extra. Motel is close to the nicely developed downtown area. Easy walking distance for most folks.
