People living in the unit next door very noisy late in the day , unit very dated .Smoke alarm had been removed from the room

David, Sorry you felt this way, and it is our hope that all guests have a wonderful time. I am however unsure, as upon inspection the smoke alarm was intact and operational? and in the future for your safety and that of others if you have this concern especially, I implore you to speak with reception immediately as we would do everything in our power to ensure this is rectified or you are shown the operational equipment. I am unsure of the noise issue and upon looking at the guest list near your room we had an older single gentleman on 1 side and a family with smaller children on the other..... sometimes guests with small children can be a little louder, although nothing was reported to reception and we did not seem to be alerted to anything untoward. Again David should you have concerns about your comfort please advise reception as it is always our goal to ensure you are happy and comfortable. We hope the remainder of your travels were good and you arrived at your destination safely.

Very good place for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable. But the best thing about the Maryborough City Motel is the people who run it. They are truly passionate about hospitality, and it shows in the way they treat their guests. We felt like we were really welcome there, and we would definitely stay there again.

Great check. I believe the motel is renovating the rooms but unfortunately the room we had was old and tired. Clean and a comfortable bed. The road noise was consistent throughout the night.

Friendly staff, good parking, close to most things in Maryborough. Rooms a little noisey from the traffic. Rooms a little out dated but kept clean. Fast check in.

The property was conveniently located and well suited for our overnight stay. Staff were welcoming and friendly. While it was clean and comfortable and has been renovated to a level, further updates would make it more pleasing.

Great motel to stay with your dog
Stayed overnight with our dog, super friendly reception. Basic but nice and clean. On a main road so a bit noisy but it was fine for us. Very reasonably priced.

Motel was close to & walkable to just about everything. Manager was very helpful with directions and places to eat. Basic but comfortable place to stay but as it is situated on the highway there is traffic noise.
