"We had a lovely break at this hotel. It is in an excellent location close to the historic docks and many restaurants. The tower is also local and well worth going up. The staff are amazing. Jeremy clearly works so hard and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were fab too and as a coeliac needing gluten free it was an extra special treat as they have GF cereals as well as part cooked breakfast and kippers too."

"The location is great the bathroom to our room was up some stairs from the bedroom the door opened out towards the stairs covering the handrail so could be a problem for some coming down the stairs from the bathroom. The bedroom was also up flights of stairs The mattress needs to go in the bin now! Our backs are sore we are very tired from such a bad night sleep from the springs in the mattress You can hear the trains but I expect that as it’s next to the station. The breakfast is served in the hotel up the road was lovely and the lady serving was excellent "
