We have travelled through Berkeley Springs many times each year going to and from Route 17 and on to the shore. Each time we drove through the town we would say, "we need to spend some time here sometime". We finally made that happen and we were not disappointed! The Inn was clean and well-appointed considering its age and history. The food at the Tavern was very tasty and portion sizes were large. The staff were helpful in answering any questions we had about the town and activities during our stay. We plan to make this a yearly stop in our travels.

Lovely hotel in this very cute town with lots of shops and restaurants. Staff was very nice. Having a restaurant in the hotel is very convenient. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The old inn itself has a nice old historic feel. We stayed in the "newer" detached section of the inn behind the main inn which itself was nice and clean and pretty much like any other hotel. To get to the new section of the inn from the old historic inn you need to walk through a covered walkway ( or drive around back) which could use some clean- up or landscaping or something - there is a view of the restraunt employee smoking area, for instance, that detracts from the overall charm of the place. Otherwise, the location is great if your interested in spending a day or two in berkeley springs.

We always stay at The Country Inn while visiting Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. The location is perfect for parking your car and just walking to the shops and cafes. The weekend usually offers a street market which is also walkable from the Inn. The Spa at the Inn is very nice, but this trip didn't allow time to enjoy it. We did however enjoy the food. It is always good and the smaller plate selections are perfectly proportioned for we ladies. The staff is always very accommodating.

Let me get the con out of the way first. We were initially put on the third floor of the West Inn. Unfortunately, in the roofline are the HVAC units, and we were directly beneath one. Can be rather noisy. Also unfortunately, we couldn’t be moved, it being the weekend and the hotel was full. Sunday, we were able to be moved to the second floor. With that done, this is a great hotel! Rooms are very clean and comfortable, great staff, very helpful when we were moved. Nice restaurant and bar in the hotel, the two meals we had there were delicious. Fantastic amenities onsite including a full service spa with all the pampering you could want. Berkeley Spring Park is right next door, with more spa features available. The hotel sits right on Main Street, making the downtown area very walkable, with lots of great little shops. Will definitely go back.

The staff at the spa the refuse to service me and my partner for a pedicure, we just told no cause the were unavailable to attend us, like we don't matter, we're very unpolished, however the staff at the restaurant make up for that and they were fantastic, excelente food and superior service.
