I rented this property for around $25 and for that price it exceeded the expectations! The hotel is in the market square so it’s about 12 minute walk from the main square. The staff was very friendly and were able to book us a tour the next morning even when we checked in late at night. Even though the market is very loud, once you go inside the property it’s very quiet. Just take into account that even though I booked and pairs in Expedia, once you are there you need to pay the city occupancy tax and they don’t accept credit card and you need to pay cash by dirham or euro (no dollars). The breakfast was included and it was the best breakfast from the different hotels I was in Marrakech! That being said, breakfast was one boiled egg, yogurt, bread and different jellies and coffee. So pretty basic but still, the quality was better than others!

A traditional Riad in a great location in Marrakech. Close to all the sites. Our room was cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable. The rooftop terrace was great to either sunbathe or relax in the evening. The breakfast was great and well worth the little extra. They also offer fantastic excursions and day trips at good prices. You are picked up from the Riad. Great service. Ayoub, Nora, and the rest of the staff were so kind and friendly and made our stay very special. Manny thanks and we will be back again.

Hassan and his friends

Hassan and his friends (the people working there) were all very talkative, so if you’re into making new friends and learning a few arab words as you go along this is the riad for you! Unfortunately we weren’t, we just wanted to relax when we got there. First night we got sent to a different riad next door as our room ‘was not ready’, and that riad was great! Nice bathroom, cool aircondition and a big bed. When we finally got to Riva Riad the next day, the pool was tiny, and it did not feel right to go there in a bikini, as it was in the middle of the riad, where everyone would eat as well. It was kinda annoying, as we were both looking forward to swimming some in the pool, but swimming is impossible in such a small pool. The room itself is another story. The sheets were spotty and I do not even want to think about what those spots were, and our shower overflooded (which they fixed quite quickly when made aware I must add). Air condition can barely be called air condition, as it wasn’t cold, so in July our room was very hot! The bed was also short so our feet would poke out the end. They didn’t really seem aware of our reservation, asked if we had ordered breakfast etc, so we had to repeat ourself a lot - yes we had ordered with breakfast, we were staying for three nights etc. They also kept asking what page we had our reservation through. Did not seem like they had heard about hotels.com before...

Première nuit désastreuse... nous avons été logés dans une maison d'un particulier !!! Où nous n'avons pas pu prendre de douche car pas d'eau chaude, pas de papier toilette, des draps sales, oreillers sales remplis de cheveux, pas de housse de couette. (Photos pouvant l'attester) Apparemment tous les clients passent par cette 'case' maison car on suppose que le propriétaire pratique le surbooking!!! Nous avons donc bénéficier que de 3 nuits sur 4 sur le lieu loué ce qui a engendré d'autres problèmes à savoir que dès le lendemain nous devions partir en excursion avec une prise en charge à l'hôtel et un retour à l'hôtel mais comme nous n'étions pas au lieu prévu de depart nous avons failli rater notre activité et pour le retour comme nous ne connaissions pas la situation de la riad on s'est retrouvé lâchés en pleine ville sans repères et nous sommes retrouvés au commissariat car pris en charge par la brigade touristique car abordés par une personne ayant de pas très bonnes intentions à notre égard.... Je demande donc une insémination en dédommagement de cette réservation !!! Cordialement

Vi betalade ca 300dh/natt. Läget är toppen om man vill bo mitt i marrakech, men man får vad man betalar för. Verkligheten levde inte upp till bilderna. Vi var där i december och då är det kyligt på morgnarna. Denna riad har inget glastak, så en varm jacka/tröja kan vara bra att ha med när man är i de allmänna utrymmena.

Points positifs: - Riad très bien situé dans la médina et à 5 minutes à pied d'un carrefour pour les taxis. - Le personnel est attentionné et disponible. - Calme , même si l'isolation phonique des chambres est très légère. - Petit déjeuner copieux. - Hygiène et équipement ok: couverture , sèche cheveux etc.. Points négatifs: - Problème de gestion du linge que l'on a donné à laver. - Très mauvaise surprise à l'arrivée avec l'annonce que le riad est complet et la proposition d'une chambre dans un autre riad qui était froide , donné sur une rue très bruyante et sans salle de bain... Après discutions avec le responsable nous avons pu aller dans un autre riad pour une première nuit. C'est apparemment systématique et cela gâche vraiment la première impression . Pour résumé, bon Riad bien situé, avec une équipe sur place disponible et agréable mais qui pratique un surbooking ...dommage de commencer un séjour avec une mauvaise impression.

Riad aceptable con buena ubicación en la medina

Nos recibieron con un té marroquí mientras rellenamos papeles del check in. Muy buen servicio del personal que no dudan en ayudarte con todo cuanto vayas necesitando, son muy amables y simpáticos. El desayuno fue muy abundante y rico, típico marroquí. También ponen a disposición una carta con platos que puedes pedir para comer o cenar. Posibilidad de contratar excursiones (Ouarzazate, desierto Merzouga, Ait Ben Haddou, etc.). Te preparan un té muy delicioso en cualquier momento. Lo negativo ha sido la habitación, pues estaba algo sucia y no tenía ventilación (nos dieron la de la planta baja). En general un riad con ubicación muy buena en la medina de Marrakech, mejorable en cuanto a estado y limpieza de las habitaciones pero aceptable si lo que buscas es empaparte bien de la cultura y el bullicio de la ciudad.
