Over all great stay, it very nice Riad close to main plaza. The breakfast is wonderful, Mohamed was very nice and friendly and helpful during our stay. One thing that I feel would great if the Riad offers the breakfast earlier for guest that book early tours before 8am, we booked this places with breakfast included, but couldn’t used because they serve breakfast kind of late, we were able to only use it once. Other than that very nice Riad.

We had an amazing stay with my 11-year-old son. The staff were incredibly kind, helping us find local shops and even picking us up after our desert tour—my son loved riding on their cart! The dinner and mint tea here were the best we had in all of Morocco. They even prepared delicious takeaway crepes for our flight home. Truly personal and thoughtful service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakech!

Hjälpsam och vänlig personal. Utmärkt frukost som kändes vällagad och spännande. De ordnade taxi från flygplatsen till medinan och bärhjälp med vagn sista biten till hotellet vilket rekommenderas om det är första gången i Marrakech. Här bor vi gärna igen.

Wat een leuk verblijf in Riad bab 54. Abdou heeft ons hartelijk ontvangen en was zeer vriendelijk doorheen de reis. Wij hebben een aantal keer geen gebruik kunnen maken van het ontbijt, maar ze hadden telkens geregeld dat we toch wat thee en brood kregen. Het is wat moeilijk om eerst te vinden, maar als je via Google Maps navigeert naar L’mida en dan links bij de tapijten, geraak je er direct.

Absolutely gorgeous riad which I would thoroughly recommend. So quiet, peaceful and well-presented. We had the family room and it was perfect - plenty of space and simple but beautifully done. Breakfast on the terrace was all home made and delicious and a real highlight. Highly recommend.

Oasis of calm in heat of Medina

Beautiful oasis of calmness in the heart of the Medina. Highly recommend you book porter/transfer from airport as difficult to find first time. Use L’mida restaurant as marker! Beautiful breakfast served by the wonderful friendly staff. The Riad stays cool even during hot temperatures. We would love to stay again.

The staff was SUPERB, so kind and attentive. Even saved us when we got lost. My only negative is the location, which is nobody’s fault. But definitely be weary when walking back late at night - can be difficult to find on google maps so make sure you find the right location.

Das kleine Riad in einer kleinen Seitenstraße in der Mitte der Altstadt ist ein Platz der Ruhe und ein idealer Rückzugsort nach einem ausgiebigen Bummel durch die Medina und die Souks von Marrakesch. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Mit Englisch und Französisch kommt man hier gut zurecht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great location, amazing breakfast

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Bab 54, excellent communication from Mohamed to organise a transfer from the airport before our arrival. A real hidden gem in the Medina. The Riad is in a great location, close to the spice square, some really nice restaurants and walking distance to most of the major attractions. Beautiful rustic bedroom with a modern feel. We loved the sun terrace on the rooftop. One highlight was the amazing breakfasts. All the staff were really helpful and friendly including the night staff.

Bab 54 - highly recommended

Thank you to Mohammed and team for a lovely stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast, good for Morocco. Very clean and room was cleaned daily. Bab 54 was located in the medina no more than 10/15 minute walk from all the main sights. I will be recommending Bab 54 and will stay there again if back in Marrakech
