Needs some TLC

Check in staff at the Golf Resort were fantastic and extremely helpful and accomodating. The Golf course was in great condition and a delight to play. The suite was in need of an update to fixtures & fittings in particularl the towels, door handles, plug points and wardrobe doors needed more tlc. Lovely gardens with great view points and lots of water fountains. A big concern was that the clean up staff washed down the paths every morning between 9-10am which meant that it was very slippery - why not clean earlier in the morning so guests aren't slipping and dodging hoses. Whilst staying at the Golf Suites there was no facility for guests to have breakfast, instead it was a walk to the main hotel. The gate between the 2 resorts would also close early evening which meant you would have to walk all the way around the resort to get to the main hotel to use the facilities. All staff were friendly and happy to greet you.

3 bis 4 Sterne Hotel

Wir hatten das Zimmer getauscht, da es im Erdgeschoss, sehr dunkel und etwas muffig war. Die Terrassentür war nur schwer zu öffnen und klemmte an jeder Stelle. Auf die Reklamation hin,hat das Personal aber schnell reagiert und uns ein besseres Zimmer gegeben. Das Hotel hat eigentlich nur 3 bis 4 Sterne, 5 Sterne sind hier nicht angebracht.

Nice hotel, but stingy with amenities

The Palmerie Palace was a beautiful resort, and the rooms were comofrtable and clean. My only complaint is that they were very stingy with towels and other amenities. They wouldn't give extra towels when requested. After multiple requests, they finally gave us an extra hand towel (not a proper bath towel). I'm not sure if they were running low or what, but it was really frustrating. We also had only a small amount of toilet paper in our room and ran out within a day. We asked for more, and they wouldn't bring it for almost a day (after 3 requests). At a 5 star hotel, I would not expect them to be stingy with simple things like toilet paper.
