Wir haben vier wunderbare Nächte zu zweit im Riad Monceau in Marrakesch verbracht (inklusive Frühstück und Abendessen) und waren rundum begeistert. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Live-Jazzband am Abend – mitreißend und sehr unterhaltsam. Die Musik findet direkt im Innenhof im Restaurantbereich statt und sorgt für eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht ist, empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Unser Zimmer „Calif“ war wunderschön und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir jedoch das außergewöhnlich herzliche Personal – selten haben wir uns so willkommen gefühlt. Das Team nimmt sich Zeit für Gespräche, gibt großartige Tipps für die Stadt und hilft bei allen Fragen jederzeit gerne weiter. Auch die Küche im Bistro Arabe war hervorragend – jedes Abendessen war ein Genuss. Das Wetter Anfang April war leider etwas untypisch, da es teilweise kühl und regnerisch war. Trotzdem hat sich Marrakesch absolut gelohnt – und das Riad war eine perfekte Oase, um nach einem Tag in der Stadt zurückzukehren. Für uns ganz klar: fünf Sterne für Zimmer, Service und Küche.

Compliments: Staff was superb, 5 stars, especially Chaymae who went out of her way to assist with everything. Soufiane was also very helpful. We used the car sevice for outside of the medina and airport pick-up and drop-off, which we recommend for convenience and great service. The hotel housekeeping crew works tirelessly every day and does a great job. Same for the breakfast and kitchen staff who were always friendly, in a good mood and very accommodating. We would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the loud live music until 11pm -and loud restaurant guests some nights even after that. We were on the second floor and faced the inner courtyard. It must be intolerable for people in the rooms next to the band and the amps on the ground fl. If you are a party person who stays out, you’ll be just fine. If you prefer quiet relaxation, then this Riad is not for you. Location: Couldn’t be more convenient. Only a few minutes’ walk to most attractions, including the markets and the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Restaurants: Bistro a bit on the expensive side but the Tagine was superb. La Pergola upstairs was average on food but nice space on the top of the Riad. A negative was that the entire space is smoking -difficult to understand nowadays! A suggestion to the owner: please carve out bigger half of the restaurant as non-smoking to make it comfortable for non-smokers. Rooms: very comfortable and spacious. Suggestion: to include written instructions on how to use tv and a/c.

Wonderfull riad in the heart of the Medina close to everything and beautifully appointed. The pergola rooftop and bistro arabe had great vibes, food, drinks and service. Will definitely recommend this road to anyone looking for an upscale/luxury road in Marrakech. Soufiane was the best host and helped us through our stay with every detail.

Perfect hotel to stay in Marrakech.This Magical Place is located in the centre of Medina just few minutes walk from the Jemaa El-Fnaa and in walking distance from other places.There are two great restaurants in the hotel serving perfect food and drinks,also the breakfast was good.The rooms are nice,clean and well equipped.And the hotel staff, they are just exceptional.Always helpful doing everything to make you feel welcome ,happy and more than satisfied with your stay.Definitely recommended.

The hotel is excellent, very friendly staff, and super clean. However, if you're planning to book your stay here, you need to be aware of the below so you're not surprised: There is a live jazz band that performs every night from 8pm to 11 pm. Our room was right next to the band area. And there were tables right outside our room. So we had to navigate past other diners to get to our room. Similarly, we had another room on the 1st floor, also overlooking the band area. You cannot tune out the music. And there was a table right outside our room that guests were seated at for dinner/music. We had to walk past other diners to get to either of our rooms. If you're looking for privacy, and quiet, you might want to be aware of what you're getting into and request a quieter area of the hotel.
The red mark is the band area. The blue arrows were our rooms. The yellow shows seating right outside the door. The room names are Sultan and Caliph.

From checking to check out was fantastic. Safiyaan the reception staff was very helpful and answered all our queries. He also went the all areas of median on the map and also gave the guide prices and what to lok for. The dinning roof staff were polite and served us well. The room size is good for 2 peoeple and had a hottub/jaccuzi area. Very nice to wind down. The palce is literally next to jamaa el fna .would visit this place agin.they even pavked our breakfast on our last day as we were starting early. Overall .nice place to stay with nuce staff all around.

I did not realize that my room would be above a concert venue. There was live music which was great but I was not anticipating that when I made the decision to book. Then when I asked the gentleman who showed me my room, he told me that the room blocks sound and it will not be that bad. That was a lie. It was extremely loud and not an experience I would recommend.

One of the best hotel stays we had. Its steps away from the central market. We stayed in the Pacha Suite. With the Jazz club being below every night was a magical experience, it’s almost like a best kept secret. Not to mention the staff was more than friendly, I would 10/10 stay here again in coming to Marrakesh.

Staff were really helpful, friendly and efficient. Facilities great; super jazz group played in the evening. Altogether a great place to stay. Note: Not accessible by taxi or car. 5 minutes walk through medina to nearest place where vehicles are available, but staff will help with luggage.
