"First stayed at the Andruss over thirty years ago on our annual fishing trip to the Walker. This is our second time staying since the new ownership took over a few years ago. It’s as comfortable today as it was the first time. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, bbq area clean, they even have a flat top grill now. Friendly host, what’s not to like? Perfect place to unwind after walking the river. Five stars all around!"

"The Station Inn was an excellent accommodation due to the little time we had in planning it. It is a great location; near Lakeside beach ( if you want to pay to use the beach, I don't recommend when there are free beaches to the lake). You can walk to stores and local brewery restaurants. The bike path is accessible. We chartered a boat to fish near Ski Marina near Heavenly, it was close proxemity. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. There were space for our bikes and luggage. The staff were fair, we were not offered the free drinks and other perks that were offered to other guests. We were informed from other guests. When I asked, the young staff member did apologize for not offering or providing us any information on using the restaurant or the Lakeside vouchers available for guests. The parking in front of room 177 were only for compact cars. The parking was available for our truck. Overall we had a wonderful time in South Lake Tahoe. We will be returning!"
