I loved staying here. Inside the room was extremely clean and I like clean. Nice bed with lots of pillows. The coffee pot left something to be desired, but I always bring my own. Really nice continental breakfast too.

Good value for the money. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was less than stellar but i didn't stay there for the breakfast. Definitely if in the area would stay there again.

Staff friendly, Breakfast is nothing to brag about...Our tolet was loose,rocked back and forth..scary to sit on...and being a handi cap room, it is not friendly for seniors to step into tub for a shower..Never had hot water in 4 diff shower times...The room was exceptionally clean..check in check out was easy..No discounts for elderly or any other ...

My room could have been a lot cleaner. Powder in the carpets, spills not completely wiped off the tables, dust/dirt in the tracks of the closet doors. That said, the beds and bathroom were clean.

AC unit in room constantly cycled on/off. Prices much higher than normal due to eclipse. Room was clean and quiet except for AC issue. Parking was better than most hotels.

Breakfast very disappointing. Few options. The staff person was very nice. Couldn’t help but notice in the lobby area there was a ceiling fan that was very dirty. Luckily it wasn’t running. Didn’t feel it was a good value.

The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of bathroom towels. Continental breakfast was nice although it did not start until 0630. Pool also closed early at 2100 on a Friday night. Would stay again.

Furniture in the room is old, the pullout sofa was not comfortable to sit on. The room cleanliness was alright . The in room sink leaked and sprayed water all an over when it was turned on. The continental breakfast was very poor. It was not worth the price that was ask for the room.

The place was clean enough nothing spectacular a little overpriced but it was in a safe area and was quiet. I got a good nights sleep. I rented the hot tub room and didn’t use the hot tub it had pubic hairs sticking out of the jets and it was sketchy as to cleanliness. Overall it was just meh.

After a car breakdown and tow to Marion had to find an overnight stay. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

The room was clean, large and included an attached sitting/TV viewing room. The walk-in shower was large. The breakfast was just ok and could have used some eggs and bread for toast.

Outstanding - definitely on our favorites list!
Excellent! We were very impressed with this Baymont Inn! The whole hotel has been updated & everything was immaculate. The room was spacious, king size bed was comfortable & mattress had good support, which is important for those of us with back issues. Front desk staff was friendly & helpful. We didn’t have time to try the breakfast so I can’t comment on that, but there’s a Cracker Barrel right next door for anyone who wants more than what the hotel offers. Hotel is right off interstate 57 so very convenient location. Hotels.com used to have a feature to save hotels to a favorites list, but I don’t see that option anymore…wish they still had it because I’d like to mark this Baymont Inn to stay again when in the Carbondale/Marion IL area. Thank you for an excellent night’s stay Baymont of Marion!

I travel around the country several times a year for business. Have stayed at the Baymount in different states and cities. This was the most most disappointing. Old and ran down. No hot breakfast. Dried up plain bagel, sugary cereals, oat meal with no microwavable bowl. Mold in the bathroom. Dirty sofa with big dirty stains.
