"La Cusinga is such a special place. It’s everything I hoped it would be in an eco lodge. The grounds are amazing. The swimming hole was fantastic. The hikes you can do on the property, especially down to Playa Arco were spectacular. The hike down to Playa Arco at low tide and the swimming hole were the highlight of the stay. The pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a hike. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Veronica at check in and check out and Michael and Ever at the restaurant gave us exceptional service. The rooms are rustic in an eco lodge way, beautifully constructed and in harmony with nature. We saw birds and agoutis right from our balcony. Although there is no a/c we found the room to be perfectly comfortable with the fan and it wasn’t hot at night. The included breakfast was exceptional, we were always greeted with a fresh juice of the day and then a plate of fruit, and breakfast is made to order. We ate dinner at the hotel both nights. The tomahawk pork chop was delicious. Overall we loved our stay and were very happy to have chosen this special place. "

"Our stay was absolutely incredible. The property has breathtaking views of both the ocean and the mountains — truly the kind you can’t stop staring at. The restaurant had great food options and amazing cocktails, and everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming. The staff was beyond accommodating and helped us book all of our excursions with ease. Housekeeping deserves a special shout-out… they were SO quick and efficient it felt like ninjas snuck in and made everything spotless. Huge thank you to Pablo, Marlon, Marlon 2.0, and Leo for taking such great care of us throughout our entire stay. The villas were extremely clean, private, and quiet — perfect for a honeymoon. We couldn’t recommend this place more!"

"The owner was extremely helpful and available. She recommended great places to visit and excellent restaurants to try. The room was clean and comfortable, and there’s a lovely balcony overlooking a tree full of parrots ! Pretty central, 20 min walk from the beach and most restaurants, 10min walk from the bus station. Pretty easy to go around"

"Had a free weekend with the girlies during our month-long study abroad trip, and we could not have made a better choice than Tiki Villas!! The hotel staff, the view, the pool and spa services—absolutely no complaints from any of us. From the get go, we were treated so kindly; Nancy upgraded our hotel room when we arrived so we’d have more space, and the room was lovely. We had an indoor AND outdoor shower, and a balcony with a view of the ocean. It’s genuinely the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. The restaurant staff were also so kind and patient considering we’re a group of girls who are fairly new to speaking Spanish, and they always met us halfway (or more) with communication! The food and drinks were always amazing. They gave me a bag of dry rice when my phone got soaked at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, and I was so grateful. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and did not need anything. I definitely hope to return one day and stay for much longer. Two days was not enough. Tiki Villas has definitely been solidified as one of my best experiences in Costa Rica, and I genuinely don’t know how anywhere else I go will be able to top this place!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was probably the best set up I have seen. They had eggs for us to cook in the morning and their pots and pans were mostly stainless steel so that was much appreciated. They had nice cold filtered water for us also. We enjoyed the pool. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again"
