"Grand Hotel Aminta is a simply wonderful hotel. It has impeccably clean rooms with wonderful sweeping views over the Gulf of Naples and Mediterranean Sea. The staff could not have been more courteous or helpful, and the restaurant dining was excellent. It has a real “old world” charm - the kind of atmosphere and service that is sadly lacking from so many modern, more “corporate” hotels. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Also worth noting it has a regular private bus service into Sorrento that works like clockwork, and many excursions to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast and more can be organised straight from the hotel. Absolutely excellent!"

There is a quaint restaurant down the street. The same staff were there each night. The grew to know me and seemed happy to see me. I was out running one morning as I do every other day. One morning later in the week as I ran by, one of the waitresses seemed to be waiting for me and gave me a pastry as I ran by. I enjoyed my time there. "
