We had a wonderful six night stay recently. The owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The property is lovely with a very relaxing vibe, and lots of attention to detail. The food was excellent. My boyfriend appreciated the cigar lounge. We rented a car and found it accessible to beaches and restaurants for the evening. We would definitely go back! Merci for a wonderful stay!

It was like coming home! Villa Kapresse not only met our expectations, but surpassed them. We felt right at home from the very first night. We had dinner at the restaurant, which kicked off a perfect stay. The food was delicious and the ambiance was so relaxing. The continental breakfast was more than we could want, delicious fresh bread and our fruit and yoghurt bowls were excellent. The staff is beyond friendly and super helpful with ideas for things to do during the stay. Our room was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. The AC and fan worked great and the terrace was a nice surprise. The entire Villa is well maintained so we felt like we were in an exclusive space on the island. The location was perfect as we were centrally located. If you want a real home experience of St Martin, instead of the same ‘ol tourist stay, then book a stay at the Villa. You won’t regret it. Special thanks to Yohan and Jenifer (hope I spelled it correctly). We will be back and book here again!

I have stayed at Villa Kaprese twice in the last month - it is a delightful property that feels like home. Johann, the manager and the rest of the staff are welcoming and kind. The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is substantial and the garden/pool area is a great place to relax and unwind. I’ve found my spot in St. Martin!

I had the best time during my stay here! By the end of the week I felt like family! The hosts are delightful, including the pups and turtles. Haha! The property is absolutely beautiful and safe. My room was clean, cozy and the AC worked well. The bed was comfortable too. The food options were amazing! Freshly made daily and so tasty! I enjoyed the company of everyone there as a solo traveler. We shared many laughs! I definitely recommend renting a car as taxis are pretty difficult to depend on. A car made things much easier! Pool was beautiful. Plenty of parking. Quick car ride to the beach! I WILL BE BACK! I miss my friends already! Thank you for making me feel at home!

Very nice guest house

It is a very nice guesthouse. However, it is a little tricky to find, and there are not many signs to guide you, just a very faded La Kapresse sign and a Sanctorium sign. The property is situated on a very busy road, so it can be quite noisy. However, the property and the staff are amazing. They also have a bar by the pool with happy hour, which is amazing when you come back from your excursions. Laura and Karim, the Venezuelan waitress, were amazing and made our stay truly special. I included some photos of the entrance to identify the guest house entrance.

Everything about Villa Kapresse was excellent, from the welcoming entrance to the comfortable rooms to the large, lush, pool area. The people were wonderful and breakfast was more than the usual "continental". It's near the main road, so it can be noisy during the day (not at night and not in the rooms). We didn't have a car, but there are few nearby amenities, so it's easier if you do have one.

There were lots that were great with the property: wonderful staff, the villa is beautiful and Angel makes one heck of a cocktail. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Some of the not so great things were the bedding and towels weren’t overly soft, our room had some bulbs hanging out of the pot lights, the villa is right next to the main road so traffic is quite loud if you’re by the pool, and the area surrounding the villa looks run down. That all being said, given how expensive resorts are on the island, this is a great alternative. Its very chic and boutique, but very different than what you would find on a resort. Very much recommended if you’re looking for something different!
