「The staff were all excellent, the room wonderful and the grounds pretty - a great overall sense of quiet and calm I did not like the booking experience with Expedia however - the photo linked with the room I booked was not correct and over-inflated expectation. When the hotel realised they changed the picture and offered us a free upgrade」

「Such an unusual hotel. What a wonderfully warm welcome even though we arrived about an hour earlier than the advised check-in time. Beautifully clean rooms. Compact but everything you could possibly need. The only disappointment was the bar and restaurant beong closed on our visit (Monday). Apparently this is the case on Sundays and Mondays although that was not clearly advertised on the site I booked through. Would still highly recommend.」
