The property was nice a little outdated but it was nice. You need a car when going shopping but it was convenient with the nearby pool and has a restaurant as well.

The apartment itself was as pictured and described. We were wanting to eat in suppers and breakfasts and the full kitchen was well appointed. It was very clean.The facilities - pool (we used the indoor lap pool) and gym - were great. Note: there is an extra charge to use the gym. Overall, stay was good but you’d definitely need a car to stay here as it’s quite a hilly area and pretty far from any shops. When we checked in, there were no toiletries, hand soap, etc provided for our week-long stay and as it was a Friday the concierge wasn’t able to help (apparently they are usually provided but this got missed) so we had to drive back to the store which was about a 20-30 min round trip drive at night in an unfamiliar area. Not ideal so perhaps check what is supplied before you drive up to Aloha Hill. It’s got “Hill” in the title for a reason…we counted 94 steps to get down (and back up!) to the pool. Okay for us but if you have any mobility challenges, this resort might not be for you.

A Victim of Credit Card Compromise-My stay at Aloha Hills which would have been a most enjoyable one was marred by the compromise of my card details and my subsequent loss of about USD1300. I visited Marbella for a party and the hotel was the only place where I shared my card details. Curiously the card was used to shop on Amazon website as soon as I checked out of the Hotel. I was receiving debits, while I was at the Airport. Before I could contact my bank to disable the card, a total of $1281.97 purchases had been charged to my card.Its my conviction that a staff of the apartment/facility would be the culprit. It was a horrendous conclusion to a stay that would have been memorable and quite enjoyable.

Very nice area and apartment, gym and spa as well - all true to pictures. Only one minus is the distance to supermarket etc making You would Almost need to have a car. But we will be back for sure!

The resort spa is amazing but was an extra 10 euro per day but well worth every penny. I was expecting to be able to play the golf course but it is private and for members only. So far we have stayed at 3 different places and this was by far the best. And by the way Las Naranjos is less than 1 mile away and it hosted The womens Spanish open the week after 👍👍👍 great course that you can play

On check in, everything was really smooth. After a few days, a lady that lived below apartment 81 came up to our door at 9:30pm shouting in Spanish and getting aggressive because we were ‘too loud’, threatened us and then pushed two of the boys we were staying with. This made us conscious and worried for our safety. We stayed in another hotel for a few nights because of this. Furthermore, the air on and hot water didn’t work for mostly the duration of our stay. We had to call reception desk 4 times before a maintenance woman came up. After she looked at it; the hot water never worked and only ever ran luke warm at best. So upset about this trip as it is the last of the year and we spent a lot of money on it. I would like to discuss this further.

The property is of a very good standard. The Self catering apartment was a good four star with flat screen TV, two bedrooms both with en suites and kitchen with all good amenities . It has an excellent spa and gym room and a pool area with good food served at the pool bar. There are no restaurants on site. Staff were friendly and helpful. Aloha Hill club was located in a really nice area at the top of a hill. it was too far away to walk to bars or restaurants. Having said that the closest restaurants and supermarket were a 5 min taxi ride away. Just too far to walk. Alternatively Puerto Banus was a 15 min taxi cab ride away. We used Uber which was available with no problems. 11 Euros cost to Puerto Banus. I would also recommend that staying here requires a car really. Parking is under the apartment and is free.We were able to drive easily from and to the airport about 45 mins each way and it enabled us to visit Puerto Banus, (15 mins away)Marbella old town ,(30 mins away) Mijas (30 mins away) (all recommended) and Gibraltar (not recommended) 1 hour 15 mins away. TIP: park your car at the big car park before you cross the border to Gibraltar or you will be in a queue for a very long time! Be warned. Take passports also.Mediterranean motorway has tolls but you can use uk credit cards or cash.
