Conch Key Fishing Lodge was in a good location convenient to Marathon, however it is very dated on the outside. We stayed in room 6 and it was updated and nicely decorated but also worn. The floors were laminate and appeared to be nice but also shifted and made noise when walking across them. The bathroom was quite small and the shower was a round tube corner type with terrible water pressure. The grounds on the property were older and in need of cleaning up and maintenance. The location is close to the road and can be noisy so be aware if you are looking for a quiet, serene location, this is not it. Check in was easy. I did call the phone number texted to me twice. Once for the WIFI password, which would have been nice to have in a book or note in the room so I didn't have to call. Second time, I called for TP and towels. They did deliver them right away so I was grateful for the quick service. Overall the bed was comfortable and we were happy with the AC units and other amenities (fridge, coffee maker, etc.) however I don't think we would stay here again. It just did not live up to our expectations for a vacation stay and experience. The pics and description online did not live up to expectations with this one.

This place looks nothing like add. No extra bedding for futon and we had 12/14 year old grandkids with us. It was cold. Toilet backed up into shower while I was showering. I still left the place nice.i did not clean all the poop out of shower. I just reported it. How absolutely gross. I have lots of pics.i see they won't allow me to add them here

The renovated room is perfect! Nice and bright and clean. Has everything you need. The bed is extremely comfortable. Conch Key Fishing Lodge and Marina is a perfect little spot in the middle of all the Keys and makes a great halfway spot to stay.

Forget the fact the mattresses are old and gross, the patio door hangs in the wind, there's no water pressure and mold in the shower (#4) and the walls are paper thin. We did have hot water and clean sheets/towels. I feel the pics are click bait. I won't be back...

This motel has potential but fails on many levels. Because many guests appear to store fish in the refrigerator, opening it fills the room with a horrible smell. Several fixtures in the room are also falling apart. Worse yet, they rely on an automated text-messaging system that goes offline after hours. In my case, they failed to provide the correct door code, and I was locked out of my room for the night. Despite their error, they still charged me for the room. Their sole attempt to resolve the issue was offering a checkout extension of two hours. Also, do not make the mistake of checking out even one minute past 11:00 AM; the staff will berate you. The motel has potential given the price and the view. However, until they repair the rooms, deep-clean the refrigerators, and provide a way to reach a human after hours, it is not a good value.

We would definately stay again! We were a little nervous based on reviews. The pros definately outweigh the cons, and the uniqueness of Conch Key Inn totally added to our well rounded keys vacation. Thank you! Pros: The warm pool!! The patio w a view off the room by the water Coffee and creamer in the room Convenient location Seamless check in and not having to be around people Nice parking Friendly staff Markitos food truck on property open 9-9 Cons- The beds Strong smell of baby powder in the room Electrical outlet was making a whining noise Docks need some repair Overall they are doing a good job. There is nothing fancy or luxurious about thos place, but it has a cool vibe and the pool and room location right by the water was a total highlight for us. We loved playing cribbage on our patio with the amazing view of the moon. Vacation is what YOU make of it!
