"We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. When we arrived at ZenZaru the location was very inconvenient. You had to go down approximately 100 steps to get to the rooms. There is no reception area, no rest area/lounge. The room was recently finished but not complete. The bathroom/shower was large and comfortable, however the extreme hot water was not adjustable and poor...

"We had an amazing time in Costa Rica. This property was clean, view was amazing, staff was super helpful. I'm giving it 5 stars but I do want to note some things for travelers: 1) Parking is extremely difficult due to small parking area. The staff is there to help navigate, but keep that in mind. 2) If you come back late, the parking gate may be locked and it's difficult to get the security guards attention to open it (front desk is gone at a certain time). Make sure to let the front desk and security know you will be coming home late or you could get locked out. Otherwise, beautiful property with great view."

"So glad I chose this resort !!! Beautiful big lush property pools were great, animal wildlife everywhere you look, the monkeys put on a nice show for you. Staff are very friendly and helpful when we go back to that area, I will be saying nowhere but this resort. Everything you need and more."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — A Truly Unforgettable Experience in Manuel Antonio I have traveled extensively, but my 3-day stay at Mountain Top Park Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I knew this was not your average hotel — this was a destination experience. The property itself is breathtaking. Nestled in the lush jungle canopy above Manuel Antonio, the views are the kind that stop you mid-sentence. Every morning I woke up to the sounds of the rainforest, howler monkeys in the distance, and a sunrise that reminded me exactly why Costa Rica is called the "Rich Coast." The rooms are beautifully appointed, the grounds are immaculate, and the overall atmosphere strikes that rare perfect balance between luxury and pure nature. But what truly elevated this stay above anything I could have expected was one person — Jairo. Jairo is, without question, one of the finest hospitality professionals I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. From day one, he took the time to genuinely understand what I was looking for in my experience — not just as a guest, but as a person. He crafted a personalized itinerary tailored specifically to my interests, curated local recommendations I never would have discovered on my own, and checked in with me daily to make sure every detail exceeded expectations. "If you are staying in one of the private pool villas, do not leave without doing the floating breakfast basket. Waking up and having a beautifully arranged breakfast delivered and set afloat in your own private pool, surrounded by jungle and Pacific air, is an experience that is genuinely difficult to put into words. It is indulgent, it is romantic, and it is the kind of memory you carry home with you. Non-negotiable. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, every single member of the staff treated us like family. They team went above and beyond, not just in service, but in genuine hospitality. They took the time to share local recommendations that turned into some of our favorite memories of the trip. Jennifer and Nubia delivered one of the most relaxing and beautifully executed massages we’ve ever had. The golf cart team, those guys were exceptional. They made sure we didn’t miss a single animal on the property. A heartfelt thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping our room immaculate every single day. That level of consistency and care does not go unnoticed. To the owner: bravo. The architectural design, the attention to detail, the seamless blend of luxury and nature — it is clear that every inch of Makanda was designed with intention and love.
