"Great place but they double charged me and I had deal with that and they have very limited food option after midnight. No room service or restaurants open, just crappy snack bars."
"Did not stay at that hotel. I made reservations at the wrong Double Tree(DT). My family was at the other DT, they canceled my reservation but I did not receive my money back."
"We reserved a room that pictured a bathtub in the main bedroom. The room also was listed specifically as King Bed w/ sofa bed (Large Room). The bathtub was in the bathroom (not as pictured) and the room was a regular size, which was disappointing. The side guest entrance had an AC unit leak directly above the door. You couldn’t avoid getting wet. The couch cushions and the comforter were both stained. There were spilled coffee and grounds on the base of the lamp that weren’t cleaned from the previous guests. The floor had pieces of trash left on it (not much, but still pretty gross). There weren’t any sofa bed sheets in the room. When we called to request some, the front desk said “of course there isn’t.” On the upside, the breakfast was fantastic and the white haired gal running the breakfast area was also fantastic. There were complimentary cookies at check in and the room was kept nice and cool before we got there. The stay overall wasn’t terrible for one night for the price, but the lack of cleanliness in the room, to us, means we won’t stay there again. The pictures advertised should match the room."
"Love the downtown location with views of Tulsa’s amazing architecture. Nice rooms, great breakfast, and friendly staff. We stay here regularly when visiting Tulsa."
"This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I arrived between 315p and 330p and was told I would have to wait 30 minutes because my room wasn't ready. 4 comes and I go back into check and I'm told it still isn't ready. One gal goes and asks the cleaning lady how much longer and then suddenly I have a different room. If they had a room available why did I have to wait 30 freaking minutes!
The room:
We walk in and go to turn the lights on and there Is I big dead bug in the middle of the floor and you can tell that it was swept around as u can see bug guts smeared around the floor. I go to our something in the fridge and there was a open half gallon of milk.
The check out staff was nice I told him about my complaint but as he was trying to release my deposit he tried to re charge me 2x still unsure if he did it correctly."
"The Brut hotel is a minimalist hotel based on brutalist architecture. The floors are concrete and cold, there are no drawers to put away clothes so you have to leave things in your suitcase. The lobby is very minimalist. At first I thought it was just a place to check IDs for a bar.
However the staff are very friendly. There is a roof bar and restaurant with great views and the coffee bar downstairs is awesome. Great barista named Emma.
We didn’t use the pool but it looks very nice. Lots of young people in the neighborhood coming to the bar on the weekends. Wasn’t too noisy though.
NOTE: If you want to use anything in the mini bar you need to call the front desk and they will unlock it for you.
We will not stay here again because we like the more traditional hotels with more amenities. But if you like the Brutalist architecture you will like this hotel."
